Still in the market for an Xbox Series X or the affordable Xbox Series S? Microsoft is offering $50 discounts on both consoles as part of its Black Friday promotion. These deals are available at multiple major retailers–but these low prices won’t stick around forever. The Xbox Series X price cut is only available through November 23, while the Xbox Series S price cut begins November 21 and ends on Cyber Monday (December 2).
$449 (was $500)
This deal applies specifically to the Xbox Series X: 1TB Model (Black). It’s currently available at Target and Best Buy, though we’re expecting other retailers to go live with the deal soon. Xbox Series X plays the same games as Xbox Series S, though it benefits from support for 4K resolutions and an optical drive to play physical games or watch Blu-rays. The discount ends on November 23.
While it’s not on sale, it’s worth noting the recently released 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition is still in stock at Best Buy for $600. Best Buy is the only major retailer with the space-themed Xbox, which has double the storage space.
$249 (was $300)
This deal applies to the Xbox Series S: 512GB Model (White). It’s much cheaper than the Xbox Series X, but it lacks an optical drive and runs games at 1440p. That means you’ll have to rely solely on digital games, though the console is a great way to save a few bucks. It still plays all the same titles as Xbox Series X and works with Xbox Game Pass, making this current offer a great one for frugal shoppers. Remember that the deal doesn’t begin until November 21, and you’ll have until December 2 to cash in.
Speaking of Xbox Game Pass, consider picking up this Xbox Cloud Gaming Amazon Starter Kit now that it’s on sale. Featuring an Xbox Sky Cipher Controller, 4K Fire Stick, and Game Pass Ultimate subscription, it’s a well-rounded bundle for just $75 (was $137). Along with a flashy controller and access to Game Pass Ultimate, you can choose between two different Fire Sticks–both of which support Cloud Streaming via Game Pass.
Need to snag a controller for Player Two? Microsoft is dropping prices on select wireless controllers by $10, though some retailers are offering much more enticing deals. For example, you can pick up the Velocity Green Controller for $44 (was $65)–check out our full list of the best Xbox controller deals ahead of Black Friday 2024.
