The coolest X-Men Lego set is now available exclusively at the Lego Store. X-Men: The X-Mansion is a 3,093-piece kit that recreates the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters. This large-scale, $330 set has a modular design and comes with 10 minifigures. With Dead & Wolverine tearing up the box office (and Blu-ray bestseller charts) this year and the revival of the X-Men ’97 animated series being a big hit on Disney+, this Lego set is bound to be popular this holiday. If you’re interested in buying it as a gift, you may not want to wait too long.
All orders placed before November 11 will come with a free gift: a 285-piece Lego kit called Books Are My Passion. No, it’s not related to X-Men, but it is a cute set for book lovers. Plus, if you don’t want it, you could save some cash by gifting it to someone on your holiday shipping list.
X-Men: The X-Mansion Lego Set (3,093 Pieces)
$330 | Lego Store Exclusive
Based on the X-Mansion seen in X-Men ’97, it has a fully modular that allows you to take the mansion apart quicker than a rampaging Juggernaut. The modular design also makes it easy for multiple X-Men fans to build the set together.
Here’s a list of the 10 minifigures you’ll get:
- Wolverine
- Professor X
- Storm
- Cyclops
- Rogue
- Iceman
- Gambit
- Bishop
- Magneto
- Jean Grey
Each room in the mansion is also loaded with details–and at least one meme-tastic Easter egg–and you’ll be able to build Wolverine’s room, classrooms, a library, the Cerebro control chamber, the Danger Room, and a lobby. The other cool thing about this set is that it comes with parts to build a Sentinel, one of the infamous mutant-hunting robots that the X-Men regularly tangle with. Just like its animated counterpart, this android towers over the X-Men and it features an impressive amount of articulation.
The X-Mansion is designed to be a showcase piece in a collection, and if you’re looking for a few more options, Lego has quite a few Marvel-themed sets to check out, including several other X-Men sets. You can get a 327-piece buildable Wolverine action figure for $25.75 (was $33) from Amazon. The figure is based off of Wolverine’s appearance in X-Men ’97. There’s also a buildable X-Jet from the series, but it’s quite expensive at $85 and only 359 pieces. Arguably the coolest X-Men Lego set available today is Wolverine’s Adamantium Claws, a 596-piece kit available exclusively at the Lego Store and Target. Wolverine’s Adamantium Claws will be retired soon, so snag it while you can.
Lego X-Men Sets
Outside of X-Men, there are numerous other large-scale Lego Marvel sets, like the massive Daily Bugle and Avengers Tower sets, but the awe-inspiring Hulkbuster is on sale right now for $385 (was $550) at the Lego Store. This is an attention-grabbing piece, as it has over 4,000 pieces that can be used to build a Hulk-clobbering suit of Iron Man armor, light-up Arc Reactors, and even a cockpit to put Lego’s articulated Iron Man action figure (381 pieces) into.
For something more affordable, some of the nice Marvel options here include a replica of Iron Man’s Nano Gauntlet from Avengers: Endgame, a splash-page diorama of the Avengers assembling as they take down HYDRA’s forces, and Guardians of the Galaxy fans can take a spin around the galaxy in the crew’s signature spaceship, the Milano.
