Where to Find the Best Discounts

July 4 is typically considered a “home-cooked holiday”: Backyard barbecues, grilling in the park, beach buffets, and potlucks are the name of the game. But for those of you who don’t want to think too hard about how to keep potato salad from turning in the sun, there are many deals to be found at chain restaurants all around the country. Here’s what to buy instead of cook this Fourth of July.

Applebee’s

Technically Applebee’s biggest deal is happening all summer long—but it seems well-tailored to a post-fireworks food run: Appetizers are half price during late-night hours, whether you order dine-in, delivery, or to go. Additionally, the chain’s Star-Spangled Sips are a red, white, and blue array of cocktails for $4, $5, and $7, respectively, available for a limited time.

Casey’s

America’s favorite gas station pizza has a deal for Fourth of July revelers. Receive 20% off any large specialty pizza from July 4-7, no promo code necessary. Casey’s specialty pies include Taco Pizza, Hawaiian Pizza, and the limited-time-only BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza, among others.

DoorDash

As part of its Summer of DashPass Savings Event, DoorDash will offer an array of freebies and discounts timed to Independence Day from July 4-9. During that window, DashPass members will enjoy any of the following: 50% off a 6-or 12-piece combo with boneless or bone-in wing orders at Popeyes; $10 off any $20+ order at Wendy’s that includes Saucy Nuggs; 30% off any order of $30 or more at CVS; and a free slice of Original cheesecake with berries at The Cheesecake Factory with any order of $40 or more.

Dunkin’

All Dunkin’ Rewards members can get a $3 medium Sparkd’ energy drink in Peach Sunshine Enery or Berry Burst all July.

Fazoli’s

At participating Fazoli’s locations, there will be two different $4 pasta options to celebrate the Fourth: Spaghetti (with either Marinara or Meat Sauce) or Fettuccine Alfredo. This deal is available to dine-in, drive-thru, and online customers from July 3 through July 10.

You get a free Original Glazed doughnut if you come in on July 4th wearing a red, white, and blue outfit.

Marco’s Pizza

If you’re ordering Marco’s Pizza for your summer celebrations, consider making it a large Fiery Pizza and Cheezybread; that way you can add the promo code FREESTARRY at checkout to get a free two-liter bottle of Starry lemon-lime soda, too.

Papa John’s

Join Papa Rewards and place an order anytime between July 4–7 to get a free medium one-topping pizza on your next $20+ order between July 8–21.

Popeyes

Get free six-piece boneless wings when you make a $10 purchase on the app or on Popeyes.com through July 14. And through August 4th, you can grab a Popeyes Tender Bundles, which includes its 12-piece chicken tenders, four biscuits, four sides, and four small drinks, for just $25.

Round Table Pizza

Round Table Pizza, a chain with 450 locations across the Western United States, is offering two different deals for Fourth of July celebrations. Customers can get $5 off any large or extra-large pizza, or receive $20 off any order of $150 or more.

Subway

Use the promo code TWENTYOFF on online and in-app orders to get 20% off.

Wendy’s

Get a free Frosty with any oder of $5 or more. And DoorDash DashPass members get $10 off an order of $20+ if you purchase Saucy Nuggs. Promo available from July 4_10.

White Castle

From July 4-7, White Castle will offer a buy-one-get-one-free deal on any individual combo meal, a menu that includes options for both breakfast and standard hours. This deal must be redeemed using coupons found on official social media channels or on the website. If you miss out on this deal, however, White Castle has various promotions all throughout the month, including BOGO free small fries on July 12, and BOGO free dessert on July 30.
