Where Is Xur Today? (June 14-18) Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide

A nomad no more, things have changed for Xur in Destiny 2: The Final Shape as the wandering arms dealer has finally set up shop in a permanent location in the game. With a slice of prime real estate dedicated to him, Xur has also undergone a revamp and he now offers a more exciting selection of Exotic gear for players to browse through. In case you’re looking to get a potentially good roll of a specific armor piece or you’re looking to see if he has a specific catalyst, here’s where you can find Xur this weekend and what he has for sale.

This week Xur is offering the weapon catalysts for Bad Juju and Arbalest. Hunters can pick up Lucky Raspberry; Titans can grab Heart of Inmost Light; and Warlocks can buy Nezarec’s Sin.

Xur Location

Spawn in at the Tower and hang a right past Banshee-44. Continue down the stairs, follow the corridor, and once you hit the Bazaar, turn right down the nearby alleyway. You’ll find Xur here in his dedicated alcove, ready to sell you his latest wares if you have enough Strange Coins in your pocket. Exotic Armor

Heart of Inmost Light (Exotic Titan chest armor)

A classic Exotic, Heart of Inmost Light works well in builds where you prioritize your abilities. Using a grenade, melee, or class ability will empower the others, making your offensive abilities do more damage and your barricade will have more hit points. Ideally you’d want both discipline and strength to have high stats, but unfortunately, you’re not getting that on this roll. Recovery eats up the bulk of the available stat points, and discipline is high but but there’s a very low strength stat attached to this armor.

Lucky Raspberry (Exotic Hunter chest armor)

Lucky Raspberry’s armor perk is Overflowing Light, which is great for Hunters wanting to be grenadiers. Arcbolt Grenades gain an increased chance to chain damage around enemies, and damaging enemies with Jolt lightning strikes or collecting Ionic Traces will recharge that ability more quickly. With this Exotic equipped, you can also use Arcbolt Grenade to stun Overload champions. This is a pretty great roll as well, with resilience, recovery, and discipline all having high stats. Intellect and strength are low, but these can be addressed with some armor mods.

Nezarec’s Sin (Exotic Warlock helmet)

Another classic from the Destiny 2 vault, Nezarec’s Sin works really nicely if you’re focusing on causing some damage with Void weapons and abilities. Any Void damage you deal will increase your ability energy recharge rate, so pair this with a weapon like Graviton Lance and you’ll quickly refill your ability meters. Unfortunately, this is not a good roll of Nezarec’s Sin. Mobility is unnecessarily high, resilience is terribly low, and discipline is also not great. Intellect and strength aren’t too bad, but this Exotic is worth skipping this weekend if you already have a better one in your armory.

Exotic Weapon Catalysts

Genesis (Arbalest Catalyst)

Breaking a combatant’s shield with this weapon fills its magazine from reserves. Energy weapons regenerate ammo on hit when matching the damage type to the combatant’s shield.

Unending Curse (Bad Juju Catalyst)

Extends the duration of String of Curses.

As mentioned above, Xur has changed how he conducts business. For his rotating selection of Exotic weapon catalysts, he’ll sell two each week. His selection will contain older catalysts that are found through random drops prior to The Witch Queen expansion, and he will not have catalysts associated with quests, Exotic missions, Season Pass Exotics, campaign Exotics, preorder Exotics, raid Exotics, or dungeon Exotics.

Xur will also have three random Exotic weapons available for sale, in addition to Hawkmoon. Xur will still sell Legendary armor and weapons, as well as engrams that can yield any item in those pools at random. Like other vendors, Xur also has his own reputation track now and the more you spend the more reputation rewards you’ll earn, including an Exotic Cipher after every rank reset.

Additionally, Xur’s loyalty program kicks in after you spend 47 Strange Coins, granting you a Strange Favor buff. This lasts for 11 days and can be stacked up to three times–once per week–giving you a chance to earn a bonus Strange Coin from activities that reward you with the currency. Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday.
