The road to The Final Shape officially begins next week when Bungie launches Into the Light, a period of new Destiny 2 content. There’ll be the Onslaught mode to try out, fan-favorite weapons to acquire, and the return of classic Exotic missions to look forward to. But right now? It’s time to check in with your favorite intergalactic arms dealer. here’s where Xur is this weekend and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur on Nessus, in The Watcher’s Grave. For his weapon, Xur is offering DARCI. Hunters can pick up the Knucklehead Radar helmet; Titans can grab An Insurmountable Skullfort helmet; and Warlocks can buy the Crown of Tempests helmet.
Xur Location
Head to Nessus and use the Watcher’s Grave transmat zone to find Xur this week. When you arrive, hop on your sparrow and head north toward the exit of the area. Look for a big tree with pink moss on the right side of the area. Climb up onto its big, flat branch, where you can reach Xur.

Exotic Armor
Knucklehead Radar (Exotic Hunter helmet)
Knucklehead Radar has long been a favorite PvP-focused Exotic, as it provides several beneficial radar perks. You’ll retain your radar while aiming and gain an enhanced version of it while crouched with this Exotic. You can also mark targets and deal extra damage to them when they have a low amount of health remaining. The stats are pretty good and well-rounded on this roll, and you’ll only need to enhance your strength and recovery stats when running with this Exotic.
- Mobility: 13
- Resilience: 15
- Recovery: 7
- Discipline: 12
- Intellect: 15
- Strength: 6
- Total: 68
An Insurmountable Skullfort (Exotic Titan helmet)
While Solar rules the roost this season with its restorative perks, An Insurmountable Skullfort is a pretty good alternative if you’re looking to run an Arc build with your Titan. Transfusion Matrix gives you health regeneration and melee energy restoration when you land an Arc melee kill, making this a good helmet for close-quarters combat. Pair it with a shotgun equipped with One-Two Punch and you can do some heavy damage. As you’d expect, the strength and recovery stats are quite good on this roll, but you’ll need some resilience and intellect armor mods to bring those stats up to speed.
- Mobility: 14
- Resilience: 7
- Recovery: 13
- Discipline: 2
- Intellect: 8
- Strength: 19
- Total: 63
Crown of Tempests (Exotic Warlock helmet)
For the Warlock who wants to pretend to be Emperor Palpatine in Destiny 2, Crown of Tempests will make you feel like you have unlimited power. Arc ability or Jolt final blows increase the recharge rate of your Arc abilities and extend the duration of Stormtrance, making this a great option for a Super-focused build. Strangely, it has high mobility–something Hunters specialize in–and the necessary intellect stat to help with shorter Super cooldowns is extremely low. Strength, recovery, and discipline are decent, but you’ll want to heavily mod your intellect to get the most out of this Exotic.
- Mobility: 15
- Resilience: 6
- Recovery: 13
- Discipline: 10
- Intellect: 2
- Strength: 20
- Total: 66
Exotic Weapons
(Exotic sniper rifle)
As far as sniper rifles go, DARCI is all amplifying the basics of long-distance combat. Its intrinsic trait, Personal Assistant, allows you to view critical information on an enemy like how much health it has., The weapon perk Target Acquired gives you better target acquisition, more precision damage, and applies a Jolt effect on an enemy when the Personal Assistant trait is active.
- Personal Assistant
- Extended Barrel
- Extended Mag
- Target Acquired
- Short-Action Stock
(Exotic hand cannon)
Feel free to give Hawkmoon a skip this week, as this roll doesn’t make it a standout version to grab unless you really need it. Moving Target gives you increased movement speed and target acquisition while aiming down the sights, but it’s a minor boost at best.
- Paracausal Shot
- Fluted Barrel
- Alloy Magazine
- Moving Target
- Combat Grip

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
