Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days officially kicks off on October 8, but the online retailer has already begun to roll out some nice deals on lots of stuff, including movies. If you’re a fan of the Vin Diesel-starring Chronicles of Riddick film, you’re in luck.
Amazon is currently offering the three-disc 4K limited edition of the 2004 film for a nice discount. You can grab it for $30, which is 40% off its normal $50 price point. Shipping is free with Prime (sign up here).
This bundle includes the theatrical and director’s cuts of the movie in 4K, along with a reversible sleeve featuring artwork from Dan Mumford. The included booklet features production notes and an overview of the characters and planets. It also comes with a feature-length documentary on how the movie was made, featuring an interview with writer-director David Twohy and the cast.
There is also audio commentary from Twohy and Diesel, along with other bonus features like production vignettes, three deleted scenes, and a video hosted by Diesel that takes viewers on a trip through the film’s set. Another bonus feature compiles a number of cutscenes from the tie-in video game, Escape from Butcher Bay.
The Prime Big Deal Days event has lots of other good deals, including B2G1 free Blu-rays, and $10 off toys and games. For lots more, be sure visit GameSpot’s Prime Big Deal Days hub to see all the best offers.
