Louis Leterrier’s Netflix sci-horror 11817 expands its cast. The Wheel of Time‘s third season has found a few members of the Taardad Aiel. Plus, Captain America: Brave New World shows off a little more footage. Spoilers get!

Scream 7

According to Deadline, Joel McHale has joined the cast of Scream 7 as Sidney Prescott’s husband, Mark Evans.

Variety is also able to confirm Jasmin Savoy Brown will once again return as Mindy Meeks-Martin in the sequel.


Captain America: Brave New World

Deadline also reports Greta Lee (Past Lives) and Wagner Moura (Civil War) are attached to star in 11817, a sci-fi/horror movie at Netflix from Fast X and Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance director, Louis Leterrier. The story is said to follow “a family of four who are suddenly sealed inside their home with no way out, and they must work to survive against both their dwindling resources and the mysterious, looming threat that is keeping them trapped.”

Following a seance, a paranormal psychology student plays a game of 20 Questions with the dead in the trailer for Are You There?


The Wheel of Time

Deadline reports Isabella Bucceri , Nukâka Coster-Waldau, Salóme Gunnarsdóttir, Björn Landberg and Synnøve Macody Lund (Ragnarok, Saw X) have joined the cast of The Wheel of Time‘s third season. Bucceri will play Faile Bashere,” a Saldaean ‘Hunter of the Horn,’ whose efforts to locate a treasured relic have led her to The Two Rivers” while Coster-Waldau has been cast as Bair, “the most respected member of the Taardad Aiel.” Gunnarsdóttir will play Melaine, “a Wise One of the Taardad Aiel” opposite Landberg as Rhuarc,” the well-respected Clan Chief of the Taardad Aiel.” Lund rounds out the incoming cast as Melhindra, “a Malkieri survivor who was taken in and raised by the Taardad Aiel.”


Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

During a recent interview with Variety, Jon Watts confirmed stated he’s “optimistic” Skeleton Crew will receive a second season at Disney+.

We’ve been talking about what a second season of this would be like, and maybe leaning into that a little bit more. If the first season felt more like a miniseries kind of structure, now that we’ve met the characters, we spend time with them and explore their world in a slightly different narrative way.

Finally, Apple TV+ has released a couple videos promoting the long-awaited second season of Severance, including a Lumon commercial and a tour of the severed floor pop-up at Grand Central Terminal.
