It may be the end of June, but it’s never too early to start planning for Halloween. Universal Studios has announced the newest addition to this year’s lineup of haunted houses at the annual Halloween Horror Nights will be based on Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the latest installment of the long-running franchise.

As seen in the film that was released in theaters earlier this year, the Ghostbusters went up against Garraka, an evil entity that nearly unleashed a new ice age on the entire world. For this attraction, fans will visit locations from Frozen Empire including the Ghostbusters’ lab, the ghost containment facility, the New York City sewers, and even Ray’s Occult Books shop. According to Universal’s description, fans will also “journey alongside the Ghostbusters” as they attempt to stop Garraka and save humanity from an icy death.

Universal Studios has also released a teaser video for the attraction that does a good job of adding some horror to the sudden deep freeze of New York. It also introduces an unexpected Ghostbuster.

Fans on the east coast will get the first chance to experience the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire haunted house at Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights on August 30. Universal Studios Hollywood’s Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire haunted house will open on September 5. This year’s Halloween Horror Nights will also include two original haunted houses: Monstruos 2: The Nightmare of Latin America and Dead Exposure: Death Valley.
