Sometimes I’m too practical for the NYT Mini Crossword. 6-Across asked for a “cellphone pop-up,” and I kept thinking of those PopSockets that people stick on the back of their phones, whether to give themselves a better grip, or a way to prop the phone up for shooting videos.
