We love Vitamix blenders — they’re a complete powerhouse in the kitchen. I, for one, could never go without mine. Its signature vortex truly works like no other, especially when I’m meal-prepping big batches of soups, sauces, dressings, and more. While I know I’m not alone, we’d be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge the fact that they’re certainly an investment.
That’s why it pays to get a Vitamix on sale, and right now, you can snag an editor-loved model for almost $200 off. The Propel 750, one of the newer models from the brand, is a timeless multipurpose machine, which is why it ranked as one of the four best Vitamix blenders we tested. In short — this is a deal you don’t want to pass up.
Vitamix Propel 750
Editor Mary-Claire Lagroue reviewed this Propel 750 blender when it first launched in July 2023, and since then, it still reigns supreme in our eyes. It can truly do it all, including the ability to cook as it purees.
The 2.2-horsepower high powered motor base is similar to that of past models we love, and it has all of the controls you need compiled in a straightforward design. Use the front dial to adjust between any of the 10 speeds or to select any of these blending functions: hot soups, dips, smoothies, and frozen desserts. There’s also a self-cleaning function on the dial. If you’re making something like homemade salsa, you’ll appreciate the pulsing switch to the left of the dial for great control over textures.
This blender performed exceptionally well in all of our tests. We love just how beautifully it can cook and puree a soup at once — the blades spin at such a fast rate, it ends up heating your mixture. The pitcher is nice and large, coming in at 64-ounces, so you can whip up everything from big batch frozen margaritas to cozy winter soups.
Another perk we love? On top of the blender’s self cleaning capabilities (just blend a little soap and water, then the vortex takes care of stuck-on gunk), the pitcher is dishwasher-safe, which is something some other models aren’t. The tight-fitting lid has an opening at the top if you need to use the tamper or add ingredients while it’s blending. The only downside we really found? Its price. Thankfully, the nifty $180 discount helps mend that, making the blender almost $200 less.
If you want to take up more cooking in the new year or just have your sights on a really incredible blender, this Propel 750 model from Vitamix won’t disappoint. Its power, efficiency, and functionality make it an irreplaceable helper in any kitchen, including mine.
