The New Sam’s Club Holiday Snack I’m Buying by the Case

With the holiday season in full swing in my house, I’ve already started buying Reese’s trees, peppermint-flavored everything, and sipping sugar cookie lattes at Starbucks. As a Sam’s Club member, I do most of my holiday shopping at the club store—where else can I get great deals on bulk grocery items, plus toys, clothes, and gift cards for everyone on my list all in one go?

Because I’m holiday obsessed, I love to buy my seasonal snacks from the club store. Not only are they delicious, but they’re also available in much larger quantities that will (usually) last me all holiday season long without a restock.

This time of year, I’d typically be loading up on the Member’s Mark Chocolate Peppermint Almonds, roasted almonds coated in dark and white chocolate and crushed candy cane pieces, which are sold for a limited time during the holiday season.

However, after holding out hope all month long, I think it’s official that my favorite seasonal snack isn’t making a comeback this year. Especially since Sam’s private label brand released new Red Velvet Flavored Almonds this year. While I will be adding the new roasted almonds covered in red velvet-flavored chocolate to my cart, they don’t fulfill the minty, crunchy craving I have.

So, this year, I’ll be turning to a new snack at Sam’s Club: Snack Factory’s Holiday White Crème & Peppermint Covered Pretzels.

Similar to Snack Factory’s fall pretzels, the Pumpkin Spice White Crème Pretzel Crisps (which were also available at Sam’s Club), the holiday variety are thin pretzels coated in sweet white crème and minty crushed candy cane pieces. They’re like peppermint bark, but with a crispy, salty, savory element thanks to the ultra-thin pretzel underneath.

Snack Factory sells a dark chocolate version as well, however, those aren’t available at Sam’s Club stores. For now, you can just enjoy the 20-ounce bags of White Crème & Peppermint coated pretzels from the club store. 

Unlike most holiday candy, the pretzels aren’t just a one-and-done treat. Because the pretzels themselves are thin, and so is the white crème coating, they’re a pretty light snack. And they look so pretty, too. I can definitely see myself adding the pretzels to cookie tins for gifting, as well as any cookie trays at my holiday gatherings. But, you better believe they’ll be a mid-day pick-me-up, too.

Snack Factory’s crunchy, sweet treat is available at all Sam’s Club stores nationwide now for a limited time—likely through the holiday season—for just $9.98 per bag. While it won’t exactly replace my beloved almonds, the same crunch and flavor is there, so I’m definitely stocking up to fulfill all my chocolate-peppermint needs.
