Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes are getting their heads in the game in a new series of original cartoon shorts with Looney Tunes: Sports Made Simple. The WB has reclaimed April Fools’ Day and April as a month to celebrate all things Looney with ACME Fools.

While we wish that meant the studio’s shelving of Coyote vs. ACME was a joke all along—alas, it’s still out of the picture—fans of Warner Bros.’ beloved mascots will still be able to enjoy six new Looney Tunes: Sports Made Simple shorts. Bugs Bunny hosts sports tutorials that will break down tennis, breakdancing, mountain biking, volleyball, and gymnastics. You can see the first short exclusively here on io9 before its launch on WB Kids YouTube and Looney Tunes’ social media pages this upcoming Tuesday, April 16 at 6 a.m. PT.

Watch Bugs Bunny host a 4x100M relay race tutorial to teach fans how to participate in a race and what participants need to do to win below.

Stepping away from the classic Looney Tunes Cartoons and Space Jam looks which are more identifiable as their sports brand is a surprising choice. Here the animation is styled more along the lines of Wabbit and New Looney Tunes  but keeps true to Bugs Bunny’s timeless silly sensibilities when explaining sports his way. All in all we’re excited to see more of Bugs Bunny giving a more interesting lesson in the basics of athletics that admittedly some of us aren’t so great at.

Check back on io9 for more Looney Tunes news.
