Estimated read time 2 min read

If you’re looking for a new Android phone, look no further. The 128GB model of the Google Pixel 8A is now down to a record-low price. This phone is pretty budget-friendly to begin with, especially compared to its Apple and Samsung competitors, and now it’s even more affordable. When testing this phone for review, CNET editor Lisa Eadicicco loved the Pixel 8A’s high-quality camera, strong battery life and streamlined feature set. Typically retailing for $499, it is now down to only $399. The 256GB version is also discounted, down to $459 from its usual $559. You can take advantage of these discounts at either Amazon or Best Buy. This deal is a part of Best Buy’s 48-hour flash sale. Deals like this one are bound to go fast, though, so keep that in mind.

The Google Pixel 8A is unlocked, so you can conveniently choose your favorite carrier and use its 5G networks. Google includes an upgraded camera and features such as Photo Unblur and Best Take to frame your photos and fix any flubs. The screen on this phone has been upgraded over past models for better response and faster scrolling. Plus, you can protect your data more easily with its included VPN, Titan M2 security chip and Tensor G3.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

The 8A’s battery life is up to 24 hours with regular use, but it can last up to 72 hours when you set the phone to Extreme Battery Saver mode. In addition, the phone is IP67 waterproof, so you can feel more peace of mind when you’re using your phone during rainy weather or near the pool.

If you’re interested in a new phone but aren’t sure if this deal is for you, we have a list of the best Android phones and best overall phones this year.
