Is there a dip season? We eat dips all year, but the span between football season and the holidays morphs into one long, creamy, yummy dip season. We’re all busy making Buffalo Chicken Dip and Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip for game-watching. For the holidays, we’re digging out the inside of bread rounds to hold the Best Spinach Dip or throwing together beautiful grazing boards.
Costco is known for being a great place to get premade dips, and right now, the holiday-est of holiday dips is back in stock at the warehouse club, and fans are running to snatch it up.
Costco’s Cranberry Jalapeño Dip Is Back for the Holidays
As much as pumpkin-flavored foods signal the beginning of fall, cranberries tell us that the holidays are just around the corner. Now Costco just brought back a cranberry dip for a limited time that screams, “It’s the holidays!”
Instagram account @costcohotfinds announced the product’s return last week: “This dip is the best! It’s a creamy, smooth blend of cream cheese, cranberries, and jalapeños.”
People are raving in the comment section, just as they did last year.
“This is hands down the best dip!!! I stock up every year!!!“ commented one fan, while another echoed, “Can confirm. Best dip I’ve ever had!”
One person even said, “This is oh so good and so evil! Already went through half of this, and I got it two days ago!” Lucky for that fan, it’s a pretty good deal, retailing for about $8.59 for almost 2 pounds of dip (price may vary by location).
How to Serve Costco’s Cranberry Jalapeño Dip
The best thing about this dip is its versatility. It can be served hot or cold, and it works with chips, veggies, crackers, and as a sandwich spread. But the best ideas come from the comments:
“Love using this to make jalapeño poppers!” said one fan, while another added, “We use it with rotisserie chicken and cheese in a wrap for lunches.” We also love one commenter’s idea of using mini naan as the vehicle of choice.
Is Costco’s Cranberry Jalapeño Dip Available Nationwide?
At the moment, the Cranberry Jalapeño Dip is only available at Costco locations in CA, WA, OR, AK, MT, ID, UT, TX, OK, and Reno, NV (according to the Instagram post), but that doesn’t mean it won’t roll out to other regions soon.
If the idea of creamy cranberry jalapeño dip sounds good, but you can’t get your hands on Costco’s version, you might want to try making our Baked Cranberry Jalapeño Dip or this Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip that includes jalapeños. Whether you make it from scratch or make a Costco run just for this dip, you really can’t go wrong with this slightly sweet and spicy combo. This is one we’ll be enjoying throughout the holiday season and beyond.
