Prime Video’s TV series The Boys returns for Season 4 on June 13, but when exactly will the first episodes arrive? The streaming company has announced that new episodes will debut at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET on Thursdays, which is quite late in the evening/early morning for those in the United States.
The first three episodes of Season 4 premiere on June 13, with the remaining five installments arriving Thursdays until the season wraps up on July 18.
The Boys Season 4 is the penultimate season of the TV show, as the series is set to wrap up with its fifth and final season at some point in the future. Series creator Eric Kripke said he always planned to end the show after Season 5, even if some of his earlier comments gave fans hope for additional seasons.
While The Boys is ending, the spin-off series Gen V is coming back for a second season and potentially more to come after that. There is also another spin-off, The Boys: Mexico, that is in the works.
The Boys is a show set in a world where superheroes are actually villains controlled by a mega military industrial corporation known as Vought. Season 4 will continue the storyline of Homelander (Antony Starr) and Butcher (Karl Urban) facing off until only one is left standing.
