What is the best TV deal right now?

Our favorite deal this month is for the Samsung Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV. It’s available with an $80 discount, and so you can pick up the TV for only $400. Sure, it doesn’t offer the highest resolution or smartest specs on the market, but at this price, you can enjoy a full 65 inches of display real estate. If you’re in the market for a Samsung TV in particular, Samsung itself is running a pretty amazing deal through April 11: When you preorder any of the company’s new 2024 TVs, you’ll get a 65-inch 4K TV for free along with your purchase.

Whether you’re looking for a budget-friendly TV, QLED, Mini LED, or OLED TV, there’s a model on sale for you on our list. Check out our list of best TV deals below. If you see something that catches your eye, we recommend you add it to your cart sooner rather than later. The deals may not last, and we can’t guarantee they will be available for long.

When we selected our favorite TV deals, we took into consideration a number of factors, including:

  • Price: We chose TVs on sale with robust discounts since larger screen sizes and OLED models can get fairly expensive — even with sales. However, we’ve also included budget-friendly models that have a comparatively decent discount based on percentages, even though the amount saved might be low.
  • Screen sizes: We also chose a variety of screen sizes from brands like Samsung, Sony, TCL, and LG to suit different spaces and budgets.
  • Display technologies: We ensured that all manner of display technologies were represented in our list, from affordable LED devices to high-spec QLED and OLED models.
  • Inside and outside use: While the majority of the deal options we have listed are for inside use, we have also included some models that are suitable for the outdoors — perfect for gatherings and sports events.

It depends on your space. In a nutshell, QLED models are designed for a brighter viewing area. OLEDs on the other hand offer a more cinematic experience for nighttime viewing or darkened spaces. ZDNET expert Michael Gariffo goes into much more detail here.

Based on our research and personal experience, several brands consistently have proved themselves to be reliable: Sony, Samsung, LG, and Insignia.

You should consider an extended warranty and perhaps a surge protector to cover faulty hardware and potential electrical damage, but in many cases, TVs produced by these vendors will still be going strong years later.

While it does come down to personal preference, when you are purchasing a new TV, you should consider what room the TV is for. Generally, the longer your viewing distance, the larger the TV — and with viewing distances of over 13ft, you should consider a TV with a display size of 65 inches or more.

You can use the Which? calculator to determine the best size for you based on viewing distance.
