The eternal debate over which Batmobile is the best might be one that will never end, but if you want to be on the right side of history, the sleek vehicle from Batman: The Animated Series is the winner by a bat-mile. That version of Batman’s ride is now available as a new Lego Batmobile set, based directly on the one seen in the landmark series and priced at $60. This was actually released last month on The Lego Store but quickly sold out, but a new run is now available at Amazon. It’s one of four new Lego DC Batman sets you can buy at Amazon.
Lego DC Batman: Batman with the Batmobile (435 pieces)
This isn’t the biggest or most complex Lego Batmobile we’ve seen–the Batman ’89 and 2022 Lego Technic Batmobile are bigger and have more advanced mechanisms–but it does make for a fun afternoon build. Out of the box, you’re getting 435 pieces to build the coolest Batmobile, complete with detachable stud launchers on the hood, a lift-up cockpit, a control panel, and a rotating tailpipe-flame element.
There’s even a rotating display stand and a descriptive plate, so you can admire the Batmobile from all angles when you’re not using it to chase down the included Mr. Freeze and Harley Quinn minifigures. A Batman minifigure is also included, and yes, he looks adorable when sitting inside of his crime-fighting car.
Lego DC Batman: Batcave (184 pieces)
You can pair your new Lego DC Batmobile with The Batcave, which comes with minifigures of Batman, Joker, and Batgirl as well as a Batwing and a Joker-themed car.
Lego DC Batman: Construction Figure & Bat-Pod Bike (713 pieces)
Next up is the 713-piece Lego DC Batman Construction Figure. Lego’s Construction figures are basically buildable action figures with posable joints. Along with the Dark Knight, you also get his speedy Bat-Pod bike.
Lego DC Batman: Batman Mech Armor (140 pieces)
This set would complement the Batcave and Batmobile sets. It’s a small-scale 140-piece build of Batman’s Mech Armor. After snapping the pieces together, the included Batman minifigure can stomp around inside the mech suit. Smashing Joker’s clown car sounds like a good plan. The Batman Mech Armor set is only $15 and would be a good starter build for a young fan of the Caped Crusader.
4That’s just the tip of the Lego iceberg today, as dozens of other sets are now available to purchase. Minecraft fans are spoilt for choice, as they can choose from cool sets like The Ender Dragon and End Ship, The Badlands Mineshaft, The Windmill Farm, and that’s not even counting all the Animal Crossing, Marvel, Star Wars, and Nintendo sets that released today.
