I give the Samsung SSD deal a 5/5 Editor’s deal rating not because it’s the lowest price I’ve ever seen on the 8TB version (it was almost 60% off around December 2024), but because it’s an excellent value for such a high-capacity SSD. For about $60 per TB, you can get enough storage space to back up your entire desktop, laptop, digital game library, and online photo albums and have space left over. It’s also a great value for a somewhat rugged SSD, with a case that can withstand drops up to 6ft, but doesn’t add a ton of weight or bulk.
