Yes, yes. We’re all here for the vacuum markdowns. But before you start scrolling this year’s Prime Day cleaning deals, give me a minute to fill you in on what else you might want to add to your cart today. Because there’s a whole world of cleaning supplies beyond vacuum cleaners—especially for the kitchen—and some of the best are 30% to 50% off today.
For example, if you don’t have a dedicated air purifier for the kitchen, you probably should—and this Prime Day, you can get one for nearly half off the regular price. And if you love vacuum cleaners so much, have you ever tried a wet-dry vacuum mop? Because I truly believe getting one will change your life. Of course, there are some really great deals on vacuums of all varieties today, too: upright, stick, handheld, robot, and even Miele canister vacuums. So many vacuum deals.
And when I say these are “really great deals,” I mean it. I waded through thousands (yes, thousands!) Amazon Prime Day deals and handpicked the best of the best. At the time of publication, everything on this list is at least 30% off, if not more.
Who can shop the Prime Day sale?
The best Amazon Prime Day deals are generally only available for Prime members, but this is a big shopping event, and there are still plenty of markdowns available to everyone on Amazon and elsewhere (most big retailers now have their own competing sales). If you’re not an Amazon Prime member, it’s not too late. You can sign up for a free 30-day trial Prime membership right now and get instant access to all the best deals.
Okay, now it’s time to check out the vacuum deals—and all the other good Prime Day cleaning deals, of course. I’ll continue to watch Amazon and other retailers for last-minute deals too, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back often.

Robot vacuums and robot mops
I’ve come to expect the best robot vacuum deals on Amazon Prime Day, but I must admit, I’m still surprised by the deep discounts on robovacs this year. This year you can save 30% or more on top-rated robot vacuum cleaners, including Shark, Samsung, and Roborock devices that each recharge on a self-emptying base, as well as robots that mop your floor. And if you’ve ventured into the world of smart home devices and have been dying to say, “Hey, Alexa, clean the floor,” or you want to tell your robotic house cleaner to sweep up before you get home from work, they all have Wi-Fi connectivity.
Mop vacs
If you’re excited about vacuum cleaners, just wait until you go down the mop vac rabbit hole. Mop vacs are new-ish to the market and this sales event, and this is the best time to buy one. These wet-dry mop-vacuum combos pick up wet and dry messes on hardwood floors, tile, and laminate, while a microfiber brush roll mops with a continuous stream of clean water and solution. They’re perfect for a quick clean in the kitchen, but you can use them on hard floors throughout the house instead of vacuuming and then going back through with a mop. Associate editor Jarrett Melendez says his Bissell Crosswave changed his life. And on multiple occasions, I’ve said the same about my Tineco Floor One.
Cordless stick vacuum cleaners
In recent years, Amazon Prime Day vacuum deals have always included a nice selection of cordless stick vacuums from brands I know, like Shark, LG, Samsung, Black+Decker, and Tineco . And I’m pleased to see that this year is no different, though I admit I was a little nervous when I didn’t see many early deals on these things. In addition to the Dyson V8 Origin on sale for 30% at Target, Amazon has a slim Dyson on sale, as well as stick vacs from LG, Shark, Samsung, Hoover, Black+Decker. And if you’re not familiar with Tineco, the brand’s S11 was my favorite cordless stick vacuum in my vacuum cleaner product testing and
Corded stick, canister, and upright vacuums
We all love a cordless stick vacuum but you never have to worry about the battery dying when you use a vacuum cleaner you plug into the wall. And corded vacs generally have more suction power for dirt, dust, pet hair, upholstery, and other jobs too. Like Prime Days and Black Fridays of yore you can save more than 30% on corded vacuums from Dyson, Shark, Miele, and Bissell.
Handheld vacuums
Hand vacs have come a long way from the days of bulky Dustbusters (though you can still find those too). Modern handheld vacuum cleaners are sleek, cordless, and lightweight and they have more powerful suction than what you’d expect from such a small battery-powered gadget. This Prime Day, they’re super affordable too. Hand vacs may not have the same suction power as an upright (or even a cordless stick) vacuum, but they have plenty of cleaning power for quick crumb cleanups in the kitchen. I use mine to vacuum out crevices, my utensil crock, my silverware drawer, and more.
Air purifiers
We all know air purifiers are great for dust and pet dander in the home. But after commerce writer Wilder Davies tested air purifiers for the kitchen, I was sold on the idea that these air-cleaning gadgets are necessary kitchen appliances—especially for those who don’t have truly functional built-in range hoods. An air purifier cuts down on allergens and cooking smells, and since adding one to my own kitchen, I’ve also noticed far less of that sticky, icky, dusty kitchen grime that seems to accumulate on upper cabinets and shelving (and even on the outside of my range hood!). This Prime Day, you can snag discounts on air purifiers from Shark, Dyson, Levoit, and Coway.
Cleaning supplies
Last, but certainly not least: The stuff we all hate to spend money on—microfiber cloths, dish soap, spray cleaner, etc. These products usually aren’t part of any early Prime Day sales and because they’re not big-ticket items, they’re harder to find with discounts of 30% or more, but I did find some treasures: Swedish dishcloths, microfiber cleaning cloths, dish spray, a duster with a telescopic handle for cleaning under and behind appliances, and even a fun spinning scrub brush (yes, I said a cleaning product is fun!). If nothing else, take this as an opportunity to stock up on stuff you already use—no coupon clipping required.
