Orgain Organic Protein Powder
Costco. EatingWell design.
$8 off each 2.7- or 2.64-pound tub
Adding some form of protein to your smoothies is almost always a good idea. It helps slow digestion, stabilizes blood sugar and keeps you full longer. Protein powder is an easy, convenient way to add this macronutrient to your blender—a couple of scoops and you’re good to go. This Orgain Organic Protein Powder comes in vanilla bean or creamy chocolate fudge. The chocolate would be a perfect replacement for the cocoa powder in our Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie. As for the vanilla, add it to almost any of our smoothies, including our Mango Raspberry Smoothie or our Spinach, Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie.
Alani Nu Energy Drinks
Costco. EatingWell design.
$6 off each 18-count pack of 12-ounce drinks
Want a caffeine boost but aren’t a coffee drinker? These Alani Nu Energy Drinks might fit the bill with 200 mg of caffeine in each can. They also serve up B vitamins and no added sugar at just 15 calories or less. There’s a caveat with these, though. If your gut is sensitive to sugar alcohols, you might want to pass on these since they contain two different ones—erythritol and inositol. There is also a warning that these are not recommended for you if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, or for children and those sensitive to caffeine. If you’re looking for a non-caffeinated energy boost, you might want to consider the Bodyarmor Lyte Super Drink variety pack, which is $4 off right now.
Starbucks K-Cup Pods
Costco. EatingWell design.
$8 off packs of 64 or 72 pods
If you are a coffee drinker and love Starbucks’ java, this one’s for you. Costco has Starbucks K-Cups on sale. You can choose from the 64-count variety pack or the 72-count Pike’s Place Roast or French Roast. Like to get creative? Instead of just sipping your coffee with your dessert, you can bake coffee into your dessert. Use it in our Chocolate-Fudge Pudding Cake or our Chocolate-Cherry Dump Cake. Coffee enhances these cakes’ rich, fudgy chocolate flavor without overpowering them. Even non-coffee drinkers will love them!
Pure Organic Layered Fruit Bars
Costco. EatingWell design.
$4 off each 28-count variety pack
Whether it’s a grab-and-go breakfast you need or a little 3 p.m. boost, these Pure Organic Layered Fruit Bars are a great choice. Made with real fruit juices and purees, these bars layer the flavors to give you strawberry lemonade, strawberry banana and pineapple passionfruit in the variety pack, so there’s something for everyone. Pair these bars with yogurt, nuts or a cheese stick for a more well-rounded snack and some protein to satisfy you longer.
Perfect Bar Protein Bars
Costco. EatingWell design.
$6 off each 12-count pack
If you’re looking for a more protein-forward bar, Costco has the Perfect Bar on sale now, too. Sweetened with honey, the variety pack includes both organic peanut butter and dark chocolate chip-peanut butter with sea salt. The base of these bars is peanut butter, which provides protein and healthy fat. The nonfat dry milk and dried whole egg powder pack these bars with more protein, totaling 15 to 17 grams per bar. They’ve also snuck “superfoods” into these bars, including kale, papaya and apple powders, for an antioxidant boost. Just be sure to keep these bars refrigerated. In the mood to make your own protein bar? Then you’ll want to try our High-Protein Peanut Butter-Banana Oatmeal Bars.
PopCorners Popped Corn Snacks
Costco. EatingWell design.
$4.70 off each 30-count variety pack
PopCorners Popped Corn Snacks are air-popped, not fried, and are still crunchy enough to produce a satisfying bite when you want that crunchy texture. Some of the flavors are gluten-free, but read the label to find which ones. This variety pack includes sea salt, kettle corn, white Cheddar and spicy queso flavors. PopCorners uses no artificial flavors, so you can feel good about adding this snack to your cart. If you prefer actual popcorn to pop yourself, you’ll get more fiber and protein—plus have control over what you put on it. Do you lean more towards sweet and salty? Then you’ll want to try our Cinnamon-Sugar Microwave Popcorn. Or if you’re more the spicy-cheesy type, check out our Lime & Parmesan Popcorn recipe.
Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce
Costco. EatingWell design.
$3 off each pair of 28-ounce jars
There’s nothing like homemade pasta sauce, but if you buy jarred, then Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce is the next best thing. Rao’s uses only real, whole ingredients and packs in heaps of flavor. You’ll only find the basics here—Italian whole peeled tomatoes, olive oil, onions, salt, garlic, basil, black pepper and oregano. That’s it! Tomatoes are loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that help fight heart disease and cancer, and they even give your skin a healthy glow. Use this marinara in our Cheesy Baked Gnocchi Skillet or as a dip for our Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Tenders.
Vita Coco Coconut Water
Costco. EatingWell design.
$5.50 off each 18-count pack of 11.1-ounce bottles
Say goodbye to the same-old electrolyte drinks—nature’s sports drink is in the house. By providing sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium, coconut water rehydrates after a sweat sesh and has other potential health benefits, including antioxidants to help fight inflammation. Vita Coco Coconut Water contains just coconut water, a pinch of sugar and some ascorbic acid to help retain freshness. The coconuts for this water are responsibly sourced from small farms, so you can feel good about where they come from. Plus, coconut water is a great addition to smoothies—or you can use it in our Coconut Margarita when you’re in the mood for an adult beverage.
Mini Babybel Cheese
Costco. EatingWell design.
$4.60 off each 36-count bag
Cheese is a great protein-packed snack, and these Mini Babybel Cheese wheels are perfectly sized and ready to go. You get a choice of the original or white Cheddar flavors. Part of the fun of these Babybels is peeling the wax packaging. Cheese pairs well with fruit, so add apple slices or grapes for a well-rounded snack. These Babybels would be a great addition to a charcuterie board, too.
Good Foods or Wholly Organic Guacamole
Costco. EatingWell design.
$4 off each pack of three bowls
No time to make homemade guacamole? No problem! Costco has two convenient options for you—Good Foods Organic Chunky Guacamole and Wholly Guacamole Classic Organic Bowls. Made from avocados, guac is a heart- and brain-healthy option that always hits the spot. And with prepared bowls like these, it just got way easier to add some guac to sandwiches throughout the week or entertain friends with a spread of dips—no need to hope that your avocados are perfectly ripe. Spread it on toast for a quick and easy breakfast option, or as a sandwich spread in place of mayo, like we do in our Veggie Sandwich.
