Target Just Dropped Thousands of New Kitchen Items

Estimated read time 4 min read

I love finding out about new kitchen items. Besides keeping an eye on the goodies I want at my favorite online shopping spots, I also check out stores’ new arrivals so that no exciting new releases slip under my radar. I’m a professional shopper, after all! I need to know what’s going on.

I was definitely overwhelmed when I recently checked out Target’s new arrivals page and saw the store had quietly dropped thousands of fresh pieces of tableware, organization and storage gear, and more. From two Target-exclusive Stanley flask colors to a legitimately beautiful $5 glass tumbler from Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, here are the items among Target’s new releases that I love.

Best Target New Arrivals

Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Recycled Glass Tumbler

Target

This is an incredibly handsome 7-ounce tumbler for sipping tasty cocktails, whiskey on the rocks, wine, or whatever other beverage you want to enjoy in style. The 16-ounce version is also super classy — I’d love having a set of these when serving a summery dinner to guests or pouring myself a nice highball at the end of the night. And at only $5, you can stock up your shelf with a few of these.

Stanley 8-Ounce Stainless Steel Flask

Target

Target recently started carrying two exclusive colors of Stanley’s 8-ounce flask: “Red Delicious” and “Honey Talks.”I can see myself loving the honey color, especially before a baseball game, while playing frisbee in the park, or taking the red one to the opera. Since Stanley is a top brand for all things portable beverages, it’s hard to believe this is only $19.

Threshold 16-Ounce Stoneware You Are Loved Mug

Target

This is clearly part of Target’s new Valentine’s Day releases, but I enjoy a colorful coffee mug from time to time, and this one I’d enjoy using or giving as a gift. Shoppers are already saying these are cute, festive, and not too heavy; someone even said they ordered two and immediately wanted to pick up more.

Figment Plastic Mixing Bowls, Set of 3

Target

I’m always looking for great mixing bowls — when you’re preparing a big meal with numerous moving parts, you can’t have too many of them. This set of three uses silicone and BPA-free material for durable bowls that are microwave- and dishwasher-safe. I love the idea of clear lids that make it easy to see what’s inside. Plus, these bowls are less than $7 each.

Yamazaki Home Stackable Vegetable Stocker

Target

These vegetable stocker bins are such a genius idea. They’re vented bins that stack, so your produce is contained but has airflow to stay fresh. Shoppers find them great for storing produce, coffee gear, spices, tea, and more.

Hearth & Hand with Magnolia 21-Ounce Fluted Glass Tumbler

Target

Tumblers are very “in” right now, but that doesn’t mean you have to get the same one as everybody else. This 21-ounce tumbler is made from glass and has a wood lid, giving it a distinctive, rustic feel. Without the lid, it converts to an attractive, large glass. Best of all? It’s only $10.

Room Essentials 10.4-Inch Melamine Dinner Plate

Target

I love fun and colorful dinnerware when it complements the meal, and this Valentine’s-friendly plate is not only perfect for February but anytime. The cherry print is fun, and I can see it being used for an appetizer, a sweet dessert, or a fruit and cheese plate. At only $3, grab a few and keep them up your sleeve for the perfect entertaining moment.

Figment Stainless Steel Flatware Set with Case

Target

Ever go on a picnic, for a hike, on a road trip, or just to your backyard and realize after saddling up for a nice meal that you have nothing to eat it with? Whether the restaurant forgot your silverware or you just didn’t plan ahead, it’s a bad feeling when you realize you can’t enjoy your food the way you wanted. This new flatware set — complete with a carrying case — is an awesome thing to have in your bag (or just tucked away in the glove compartment for when you need it). And it’s only $5.
