Customers have been noticing that the nuggets were missing from their local Taco Bell locations, so they started sharing their experiences on social media. In a Reddit post, many people complained about the issue, despite still seeing ads about the nuggets everywhere. 

“I’m upset. They were sooo good,” one person wrote. “Well, at least I know they weren’t lying to me because they didn’t feel like making them.”

“I was able to order and pay for them, just to be told they’re not available,” another recalled. “I used a kiosk though, not the app.”

While we knew the item would only be around for a limited time, it still hurts to see them go so soon. But there’s still some hope left—I reached out to a Taco Bell representative and got some promising information. 

“Offering menu items for a limited time allows us to create room for even more craveable creations for fans,” they said, “but we never say never when it comes to the chance of a permanent spot on menus.”
