Be still our Taco Bell-loving heart. We don’t know what we ever did to deserve launch after delicious launch from the fast food restaurant, but we will happily take it.
Following the immense success of Taco Bell’s new chicken nugget innovation, the restaurant is bringing another menu item previously seen in test markets to locations nationwide. This time, it’s in the form of a new burrito.
On Jan. 16, Taco Bell is adding its new Cheesy Dipping Burritos to menus everywhere.
Taco Bell Adds Cheesy Dipping Burritos To Menus
Following a test in Detroit, Michigan in 2024—where Taco Bell says the burritos “quickly became a fan-favorite”—the brand has decided to make the cheesy, saucy burritos its first limited-time menu item of 2025.
The new burritos are available with your choice of protein, either marinated, grilled steak or slow-roasted Cantina chicken. They’re served alongside your favorite dipping sauce, including Creamy Chipotle, Nacho Cheese Sauce, or Reduced-Fat Sour Cream. Taco Bell’s Cheesy Dipping Burritos are miniature-sized and served as a duo held together by gooey cheese—similar to the fan-favorite Grilled Cheese Burrito.
Each burrito is filled with your selected protein, Avocado Ranch sauce, and a three-cheese blend, which is also what holds the burritos together on the outside.
In a promo video posted on TikTok, Taco Bell showed off the new menu offerings with an epic cheese pull to separate the burritos.
“Y’all aren’t ready for cheesy dipping burritos,” the caption read.
Between the extra cheesy exterior and cup of sauce for dunking, the new Cheesy Dipping Burritos truly live up to their name.
Whether you choose to share your order or not, the burritos are sold in a pair for $4.99.
During the market test in June 2024, YouTuber Chris Frezza posted a video reviewing the Cheesy Dipping Burritos.
“This is dangerous,” he said giving the menu offerings a solid 7.6 out of 10 rating.
Taco Bell’s Cheesy Dipping Burritos join the menu along with the new Steak Garlic Nacho Fries and Baja Dream Freezes. The burritos will only be available for a limited time, but have no fear—with Live Más Live coming soon, we know there are many more Taco Bell menu innovations to come this year.
