When you think of soda brands, of course, the major players come to mind first. Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Dr Pepper are consistently the top three soda companies in the country. But Sunkist is quickly rising as a fan favorite as the orange soft drink continues to capture the hearts of many.
Since its initial launch in 1979, the soda company has expanded to a wide range of flavors, including classic Orange, Grape, Peach, and even Berry Lemonade. Its fruit-forward soft drinks offer unique flavors that you don’t typically see on the market—and its latest release is no different.
Sunkist Launches New Raspberry Blood Orange Flavor
Sunkist is releasing an all-new Raspberry Blood Orange-flavored soda, but there’s a catch. The new flavor will only be sold at one retailer, Casey’s.
In case you’re not from the Midwest, Casey’s is a beloved gas station hailed for its pizza (yes, really). I was certainly skeptical when my classmates in Iowa urged me to try the gas station pizza, but, after I did, I could see what all the fuss was about. However, Casey’s isn’t just offering the best pizza in the Midwest—it’s also offering the exclusive new Sunkist flavor.
Previously, Sunkist teamed up with Casey’s to release its Strawberry Orange flavor, and the pair is back again for this launch. Sunkist’s newest flavor, Raspberry Blood Orange, features a combo of sweet raspberries and tart blood orange in the fizzy soft drink. And just like its previous Casey’s collaboration, Sunkist’s latest flavor will only be available at your local Casey’s convenience store.
Of course, fans are both excited and disappointed about the exclusivity of the new flavor.
“I hate when things are exclusive,” one user commented on an Instagram post shared by @markie_devo.
“I had the drink last night and it was pretty tasty,” another user commented.
Sunkist Raspberry Blood Orange sodas are available at Casey’s locations now across the Midwest and South. It sounds like a road trip might be in order to try the latest Sunkist flavor—and, of course, grab some famous Casey’s pizza, too.
