Best Prime Day graphics card deals

The RTX 4070 Super is a more powerful version of the standard 4070 and has 12GB of memory and plenty of oomph. It’s not a bad discount either, and this GPU will see you through for a few years.

The original RTX 4070 is still a very respectable graphics card that can handle most modern games on high settings and should be good enough to last a few years — even longer if you’re mainly an indie gamer. Just make sure you click the coupon to get the extra $10 discount.

The RTX 3060 is a last-gen graphics card, and at the weaker end of the pool to boot, but it’s still capable of impressive performance. As long as you’re not looking for 4K on something like Call of Duty, this thing will do the job.

AMD/CNET

The only Radeon GPU on our list is the RX 7600. This is a solid lower-end model that’s a lot more affordable but can still produce good-looking images. Just don’t expect high-end performance from it.

When is Amazon Prime Day?

Prime Day kicked off on July 16 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on July 17. This year marks the 10th Prime Day, with sales on tons of popular items and brands. These won’t last much longer so if you see something you like, get it before it’s too late.

How we choose the best Prime Day graphics card deals

Many of us here at CNET have covered shopping events for over five years, including Black FridayPrime DayMemorial Day and countless other events. In that time, we’ve learned how to spot the best deals among a sea of thousands of superficial offers and scams, and we surface only the best offers from trusted retailers. When choosing graphics card deals to show you, we look for real discounts, quality reviews and remaining sale time.

  • Real discounts mean genuine savings. We check pricing history for products listed as on sale, so we know when it’s a case of an inflated list price rather than an actual discount.
  • Quality reviews and testing are super important for any product. A discount isn’t worthwhile if it results in a subpar product experience, no matter how much you saved.
  • Remaining sale time is important, too. Some deals are around for only a short time or may be limited in supply. If that’s the case, we’ll let you know upfront so you don’t come back to the deal later only to be disappointed.

Is Prime Day the best time to buy graphics cards?

Yes, some of the best deals on tech, including graphics cards, happen during the Prime Day event. Many of these items are at their all-time lowest prices and could go quickly. If you see a deal you’re considering, we recommend grabbing it before stock vanishes or the time runs out.
