Sausage Recalled Due to Glove Pieces Found in Products

There’s an active recall on 14 types of sausage in Canada, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). This is due to nitrile glove pieces found in the products. The plastic gloves were likely worn by those working in the processing facilities.

Sold in retail locations nationwide, below are the various products impacted by this recall. Note: some of these sausages are not labeled with a specific brand.

All of the above sausages have a printed code “EST 69B” on the packaging. If you have recently bought sausage, salami, pepperoni or other related meat products, check the packaging immediately for the recall information. Dispose of any products that match the above information, or return it to its place of purchase.
