Ryan Reynolds Posts Deadpool & Wolverine Cameo Tributes

Estimated read time 3 min read

For the longest time, Ryan Reynolds couldn’t say anything. He couldn’t say who was in Deadpool & Wolverine. He couldn’t say who wasn’t. And, if you’ve ever watched Ryan Reynolds in anything, you know keeping his mouth shut does not come naturally to him.

Now that the film is out though, Reynolds can finally speak about everyone who appears in the movie and it’s been a really touching experience. Over the past week or so, the star, co-writer, and producer of Deadpool & Wolverine has used his social media to pay tribute to actors like Wesley Snipes, Channing Tatum, Jennifer Garner, Dafne Keen, and just today, Jon Favreau, who all have surprise supporting roles in the film. You can read each post below and, bonus, each comes with new photos from behind the scenes of the film.

One person who is noticeably absent, at least for now, is Chris Evans, who reprises his Fantastic Four role as the Human Torch, Johnny Storm. We’re guessing that’s coming soon and, when it does, we’ll update this post.

Nevertheless, you can tell how excited Reynolds was to get these actors back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s rewarding for audiences, sure, but it seems it was just as rewarding for him too. Not just share the screen with them, but to give those characters some semblance of closure. Now we just have to wait and see if any of them come back in future projects.

Deadpool & Wolverine is now in theaters, as if you didn’t know.
