Yeti Rambler 30-Ounce Tumbler 

Senior commerce editor Phoebe Sklansky‘s go-to pick for staying hydrated is Yeti’s Rambler tumbler. “It keeps my drink cold for hours on end and is impressively durable; it could probably survive an apocalypse,” she says. Nite Ize Radiant 250 Headlamp

Avid camper and commerce writer An Uong “can’t recommend a good, bright headlamp enough” for moving around her campsite at night or for nighttime walks around her neighborhood. Uong particularly loves the adjustability of Nite Ize’s beam, so she never has to crane her neck. 

Brooks Adrenaline GTS Road-Running Shoes 

Assistant general manager Penelope Wall highly recommends Brooks Adrenaline GTS sneakers. She’s been running in this shoe for “over 10 years after an ankle injury,” adding that they “fit like a glove and are easy to get on and off.” And she’s not the only person who loves them. With more than 700 five-star ratings at REI and a reputation for balancing comfort with stability, odds are good that your size will sell out quickly now that these are on sale. 

Cannondale 10-in-1 Multi-Tool 

Associate editorial director Carolyn Malcoun plans to snag Cannondale’s 10-in-1 cycling multi-tool with hex keys, Phillips heads and more for her husband, calling it the “perfect stocking stuffer” for cyclists. Its slim design ensures that it won’t take up a lot of room inside a backpack or one of the many Rapha cycling jersey pockets that her husband loves so much. 

Amphipod FKT Minimalist Trail Belt 

Malcoun’s husband has struggled with finding the right pack for holding his keys, phones and credit cards while on a run, so she plans to grab him a new one this holiday season. Her pick? Amphipod’s trail belt, which has a simple design and adjustable loops. “It’s minimalist but looks like it’ll fit his phone and key fob perfectly,” says Malcoun. REI Co-op Active Pursuits Sports Bra 

For herself, Malcoun is eyeing REI Co-op’s Active Pursuit Sports Bra. It has removable cups, mesh lining for breathability and flexibility and a racerback design for unrestricted movement. 686 Hydra Insulated Women’s Jacket 

And for her daughter, Malcoun plans to grab 686’s insulated jacket ahead of snowboarding season. One REI reviewer wrote that they stayed warm despite wind chills of “-15°F at the peak” last season, making this an excellent addition to any winter wardrobe. “I love the ombré-ish effect, and I know she’ll love it too,” says Malcoun. 

Nathan RX Hyper-Brite Light

“As we move into winter, nighttime comes so much quicker and I often find myself walking or running in the dark after work,” says Wall. “I try to always have a light with me for safety so that cars can see me after the sun goes down.” And this now-$14 clip-on strobe light is an excellent choice since it’s lightweight, rechargeable and weather-resistant.  

October Research Motive AscentShell Jacket 

There’s a lot to like about October Research’s rain jacket, says commerce writer Kristin Montemarano, including its “three layers of protection, hood, zippered pockets (one even doubles as a separate storage bag) and its perfect loose-but-not-too-loose fit.” She also appreciates its color and size options, as well as its price. 

Darn Tough Farmer’s Market Crew Lightweight Lifestyle Socks

Julbo Whoops Reactiv Sunglasses 

These Julbo photochromic sunglasses block UVA, UVB and UVC rays, making them another of Malcoun’s husband’s favorite finds for exercising outside. He loves them so much, she plans to buy another pair for one of their close friends while they’re 42% off at REI.

For Wall’s annual family camping trips, she loves Eureka’s Ignite 2-Burner Camp Stove. “It packs up to be very compact and makes cooking up meals and making our morning coffee so much easier,” she says. The propane-fueled stove fits two 12-inch pans and is a great deal at 40% off.
