Reese’s Just Launched the Perfect Thanksgiving Dessert

Estimated read time 3 min read

Thanksgiving is about six weeks away, and while it might seem too early to start planning your feast, you can never be too prepared. The last thing you’ll want to do right before the holiday weekend is sift through recipes, delegate tasks, and brave the chaos of the grocery store more than you need to.

One way to make the season feel less busy is to shop early for baking essentials, shelf-stable holiday beverages, and frozen items. These can all be stored away without risk of spoilage and you’ll have a much smaller shopping list to manage right before the big day. Luckily, there’s no shortage of freezer-friendly holiday treats. From Dolly Parton’s Whipped Cheesecake to Sara Lee’s frozen dessert lineup, there’s an option for every palate.

This year, you’ll want to make some extra space on the dessert table because one of our favorite candy brands just launched a no-bake pie, and it’s sure to be an instant crowd favorite.

Reese’s Frozen Peanut Butter Crème Pie

Reese’s Peanut Butter Crème Pies are now available at select retailers nationwide. The frozen pie features a Hershey’s cocoa pastry crust and peanut butter cream filling. It’s finished with whipped topping around the edge and a generous sprinkle of chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups on top for a presentation worthy of any holiday dessert spread.

In addition to the peanut butter pie, fans can also get their hands on three more candy-inspired treats. Hershey’s Chocolate Crème Pie serves up a double dose of flavor with a chocolate crust and creamy chocolate center. For something with more texture, shoppers can try Mounds Coconut Crème Pie which combines the rich flavors of dark chocolate and coconut. If apple pie is a must, customers can snag a Heath Toffee Apple Pie which resembles a streusel apple pie but with a sweet toffee twist.

Recently, food reviewer @snackolator shared the new finds with his followers. “Any size pie can be a personal size if you just grab a fork and dig right in,” he wrote in the caption. Fans couldn’t contain their excitement and took to the comment section to sound off on which they plan to try first. “All of them! Whole family will be happy. Where are they?” said one user.  “Reeses all day,” replied another.

The big question now–where can we find them? So far, they have already been spotted on shelves at Kroger and ShopRite. Instagrammer @Markie_Devo told fans the pies will be available at Wakefern stores, WinCo, and Krogers nationwide. It’s unknown if they will be available at more retailers, so be sure to check the frozen dessert section on your next grocery run.
