Reese’s Is Launching a First-Of-Its-Kind Treat in the Snack Aisle

Reese’s has mastered the art of innovation, offering fans, in just the past few weeks alone, everything from oversized Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup kits to sugar cookie-studded cups. It’s even ventured into snack hybrids, like Reese’s popcorn and a ready-made peanut butter pie perfect for the holidays. Now, it’s breaking new ground in the world of candy by giving us something we’ve never seen from the brand before.

New Reese’s Pieces and Hershey’s Chocolate Bark

Chocolate bark is one of our favorite holiday staples as it’s one of the tastiest (and easiest) candies to create at home—especially when flavored with seasonal toppings like crushed peppermint. But now, the Hershey’s company is saving us the trouble of making it ourselves and is giving us more reason to enjoy the treat year-round. 

The chocolate-peanut butter powerhouse is introducing Reese’s Pieces Bark—a rich chocolate bark featuring Reese’s Pieces Minis and roasted peanuts. This new treat combines the brand’s signature peanut butter and chocolate flavors with nutty, crunchy textures making it a must-try for Reese’s fans.

And, Hershey’s is along for the ride with its own take on the treat: Hershey’s Bark with Pretzels and Almonds. This version blends creamy Hershey’s milk chocolate with salty pretzel pieces and crunchy almonds, creating a sweet-and-salty treat that’ll satisfy every craving.

There is one hiccup—these barks won’t hit shelves until 2025. But, if Instagram buzz is any indication, fans are already counting down the days. “My peanut butter lovin’ heart is drooling,” commented one fan. “Yes please!” said another. 

The ready-to-eat treats will come in two different packaging options: a six-ounce pouch for sharing (if you’re feeling generous) and a 3.1-ounce bag designed for more grab-and-go snacking. Some fans have poked fun at the three-ounce option, calling it “barely a nibble.” “Where’s the 5-pound bag?” asked another. But, we’ll be happy to see the sweets on shelves no matter what size they’re offered in. 

A Hershey’s representative shared that both chocolate treats will be available at retailers nationwide beginning Feb. 2025, and when we spot them, you’ll be the first to know. But, until then, we’re keeping our salty-sweet cravings on standby—and crossing our fingers for even more Reese’s creations in the new year.
