Pringles Releases 2 New Summer Flavors With Miller Lite

One of summer’s greatest simple pleasures is a slow, leisurely party on a patio or in a backyard on a warm Saturday night. And the best part of outdoor entertaining is naturally the food that comes with it.

If you’re the kind of person who’s grilling all summer long, it’s likely you’re familiar with the slow-cooked and succulent dish, beer can chicken. While this grilling strategy — which does involve cooking a chicken on top of a beer can — is incredibly delicious, we’re always on the lookout for a version of this flavor combo that’s a little less time-intensive, and now Pringles is here to help. 

Miller Lite is partnering with Pringles on two brand-new crisps that encapsulate classic warm-weather flavors with no grill required. Beer Can Chicken- and Grilled Beer Brat-flavored Pringles are headed to a grocery store near you, instantly bringing a taste of “your favorite grilled foods” with “Miller Lite’s hoppy, malt beer aroma” to any outdoor gathering, per a press release shared with Food & Wine. 

Although both products will channel tasting notes of beer, their flavor profiles will be distinct. Per the press release, Pringles x Miller Lite Beer Can Chicken “combines the flavor of savory roasted chicken complete with notes of garlic and onion with the authentic flavor of the Original Light Beer.” 

On the other hand, the Pringles x Miller Lite Grilled Beer Brat “has that smokey grilled brat flavor you know and love, with notes of black pepper, caramelized onion, and brown spice,” in addition to that light beer flavor.

Shoppers can snag these two seasonal products at retailers nationwide starting in May, but you’ll have to act fast: This limited-time offering is only sticking around while supplies last.

These crisps marry the best flavors of summer into one delicious bite that we can’t wait for fans to experience.”

In today’s official announcement about the launch, the American beer brand recognizes that its light lager plays a role in many fan-favorite dishes during summer’s most quintessential cooking occasions. 

“We know fans already infuse Miller Lite’s iconic flavor into grilled staples, so bringing those same flavors into an ultimate savory snack with Pringles felt like a seamless fit for fans to snack on at their backyard barbecues this summer,” says Ann Legan, vice president of marketing for the Miller family of brands.

We’ve been impatiently waiting to taste this collaboration since late January, when images of the limited-edition Pringle cans began circulating on social media. Food blogger and content creator Snackolator shared the rumored product launch with his Instagram audience of over 600,000 followers earlier this year, many of whom revealed their mixed reactions in the comment section. 

Some eagerly wondered if the new Beer Can Chicken flavor would resemble the limited-edition Rotisserie Chicken crisps that were discontinued in 2021, while others expressed skepticism toward the flavor combination. But as eternal fans of enjoying grilled chicken, bratwurst, potato chips, and beer together at any cookout, we’re confident they’ll be crave-worthy.

Pringles’ official account later confirmed the upcoming launch of its Beer Can Chicken chips in a January 30 post on Instagram, and hungry followers have been anticipating the announcement of an official release date and more details — until now.
