Pokemon Sleep‘s Fire Week starts today, and with it, a much larger in-game event focused around the game’s second Legendary Pokemon: Entei. Entei’s event will allow players to befriend the volcano Pokemon, tackle exclusive weekly missions, earn new items, and receive rewards.
Similar to the Raikou Research Event, Entei will be solely appearing in Greengrass Isle. Players will have to gather Entei Mane which will be exchanged for Entei Incense alongside Entei Biscuits. Entei Incense, but especially Entei Biscuits (like the previous Raikou Incense and Raikou Biscuits), will make it easier to lure and befriend Entei during daily research. The Entei Biscuits will increase Entei’s friendship by a larger amount compared to regular Poke Biscuits. While the event is live, other Fire-type Pokemon will also appear at a higher rate such as Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Vulpix, Ninetales, Growlithe, Flareon, Cyndaquil, Quilava, and Typhlosion.
To obtain Entei Mane, players will have to complete special weekly missions that will reward Entei Mane. Entei’s sleep style will be Snoozing and its exclusive main skill is Helper Boost (Fire). Helper Boost (Fire) activates by having different species of Fire-type Pokemon on your team, and this will then increase the amount of berries and ingredients earned through Entei’s Helper Boost. The Fire Helper Pokemon players set will have their main skills boosted by one and three for week one and week two of the event respectively.
Entei can also appear in Taupe Hollow after, but it will be incredibly rare in its appearance. Since Entei and Raikou are both Special Pokemon, players can only have one Special Pokemon active on their team.
The Entei Research event starts on May 20 at 4 AM local time and ends on June 3 at 3:59 AM local time. Be sure to check out our Pokemon Sleep Recipe List, which has updated recipes from the Valentine’s Day event.
