Persona 3 Reload Expansion Pass Adds New Ending, Is Free With Xbox Game Pass

Persona 3 Reload developer Atlus has announced that a three-step expansion pass for the game is on the way. The studio shared the news during Xbox’s Partner Preview Showcase, as well as confirmed what content the pass will include and when each wave of new material will be released. Xbox also revealed that the expansion will be available for free to all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers until January 31, 2025. However, those without a Game Pass subscription can still purchase the expansion pass on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC for $35.

The first part of the expansion is set to release on March 12 and adds 16 fan-favorite tracks from across Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal to Persona 3 Reload. Players will then be able to listen to the following songs as background music while exploring and battling in Tartarus:

• “Beneath the Mask”
• “Kichijoji 199X”
• “Gentle Madman”
• “I believe”
• “Keeper of Lust”
• “Blooming Villain”
• “Victory”
• “Backside of the TV”
• “Game”
• “Junes Theme”
• “Heaven”
• “Long Way”
• “Revelations: Mitsuo”
• “The Almighty”
• “Results”

In May, pass holders will gain access to the Velvet Costume and Background Music set. The set includes five remixed tracks of Persona 3 Reload originals, as well as Velvet Room-themed outfits for every SEES party member.

The last wave of the expansion pass is scheduled to release this September and adds an updated version of Persona 3 FES’ epilogue, Episode Aigis – The Answer. The Answer takes place after the events of Persona 3 Reload and follows the SEES team as they find themselves stuck in a never-ending March 31. Players will get the chance to take control of Aigis as she traverses the Abyss of Time, searching for both an escape as well as the reason for the time loop.”

Released on February 1, 2024, Persona 3 Reload has been a major success for Atlus. The title quickly became the fastest-selling Atlus game in history with over 1 million copies sold in its first week, and received nearly universal praise from critics.
