Pepsi Wild Cherry Is Going Where It’s Never Gone Before

It’s a tale as old as time: Pepsi releases a new flavor, then Coke follows suit with a flavor launch of its own. But, in a world with Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, exclusive flavors, and major partnerships, the cola wars don’t stop with canned flavor releases anymore.

So, as Coke just announced six new flavors coming to its Freestyle fountains, Pepsi is adding a new flavor to its lineup in partnership with SodaStream. On the heels of its Pepsi Wild Cherry & Cream soda release, which is quickly becoming a fan-loved flavor, the brand is bringing its wildly popular original cherry flavor to the SodaStream.

SodaStream Releases New Wild Cherry Pepsi Flavor

For the first time ever, you’ll be able to make your own Wild Cherry Pepsi and Zero Sugar Wild Cherry Pepsi at home, thanks to the SodaStream.

The at-home sparkling water maker has had a long-standing partnership with PepsiCo and its soda flavors. Pepsi and SodaStream teamed up to release fan-favorite sodas, including Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Starry, Zero Sugar Starry, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew Zero, Mountain Dew Code Red, and Mountain Dew Code Red Zero, in at-home mixes exclusive to the appliance. Additionally, SodaStream sells Bubly Drops in cherry, lime, blackberry, grapefruit, raspberry, peach, mango, and strawberry to recreate PepsiCo’s sparkling water flavors at home.

Beginning this month, the fan-favorite Pepsi Wild Cherry is coming to the SodaStream with two new mixes. The Pepsi Wild Cherry drink mixes, available in both regular and zero-sugar varieties, feature the same sweet Pepsi flavor with a burst of cherry you love from the canned offering, but in a new, create-your-own-adventure form to make at home.

Simply add as much—or as little—drink mix to your freshly made SodaStream sparkling water, and you’ll have a refreshing pop perfectly flavored to your liking. Plus, using the SodaStream and drink mix eliminates the need for single-use plastics when you have a soda craving.

Pepsi Wild Cherry and Pepsi Zero Sugar Wild Cherry drink mixes will be available at retailers nationwide beginning Jan. 30. They’ll be sold for $6.99 per bottle, with each bottle making an equivalent to 24 12-ounce cans, when made according to package instructions. However, if you can’t wait that long, you can snag the new SodaStream flavors exclusively on SodaStream’s site. 

From Jan. 21 to 26, you can pre-register for the flavor release and receive a unique code that can be used to buy the Wild Cherry flavors from Jan. 27 to 29. Plus, if you register for early access, you’ll receive free shipping on your SodaStream order.
