Pearl Milling Company Just Recalled Pancake Mix

There’s an active recall on Pearl Milling Company pancake mix, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). This is due to an undeclared allergen in the product.

The Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix is impacted by this recall. Sold in 32-ounce boxes, the recalled mix contains a printed UPC of “30000 65040” and best by date of September 13, 2025. The affected product was sold in retailers in the following states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah and Wisconsin.

Check your pantry for this product, and if you have it on hand, the company is urging you to dispose of it or return to your place of purchase for a refund. The pancake mix is being recalled due to undeclared milk, so those with dairy allergies may experience an allergic reaction when consuming this product.

Signs of anaphylaxis include hives, swelling, tightness of the throat, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness and cardiac arrest. There are no allergic reactions currently connected to this recall, but if you are experiencing any of these symptoms after consuming this product, call 911 immediately.
