Path Of Exile 2: How To Get Off The Ardura Caravan In Trail of Corruption

Estimated read time 3 min read

At the start of Act 2 in Path of Exile 2, you embark on the Ardura Caravan. The massive town on wheels is being pulled by slaves through the Vistiri Desert. However, it’s being stopped by a vicious sandstorm, and you need to find a way to get through it as a part of the Trail of Corruption quest.

As you meet more characters on the Ardura Caravan, you’ll be directed to travel to new regions and find a way to stop the sandstorm. Unfortunately, getting off the caravan and traveling to new places isn’t as simple as it sounds.

Leaving the Ardura Caravan in Path of Exile 2

The Ardura Caravan is your first stop in Act 2.

After meeting with enough people onboard the Ardura Caravan, the Trail of Corruption will update with the objective: “Travel to areas of reported corruption.” Of course, that’s a fairly vague objective, as the caravan is moving the entire time you’re on it and you haven’t visited any new locations to fast-travel to.

Many players, including myself, have spent a long time attempting to disembark the caravan to find a new location to visit. However, they’re stopped when the usual spot to leave the caravan is blocked off due to the vehicle moving. You can only leave the caravan when it’s completely stopped at a specific location.

Fortunately, the solution to this problem is simple and right under your nose. All you have to do to leave the Ardura Caravan is visit the Desert Map in the room with Sekhema Asala. This is near the front of the caravan past the gambling vendor’s spot.

At the Desert Map, interact with it and select a location on it that has a yellow quest icon (and looks like a sword). The first location you want to visit for the Trail of Corruption quest is Mawdun Quarry, which Sekhema Asala will outline for you the first time you select the Desert Map.

After finding the location you want to go to, click its map icon and confirm that you want to travel to that destination. From there, the Ardura Caravan will do the rest of the work and stop at the new location immediately. You can now head to the back center part of the vehicle and get off on the ramp.

You’ll have to continually use the Desert Map on the Ardura Caravan to visit new map locations throughout Act 2 and the Trail of Corruption quest. After visiting Mawdun Quarry, use the Desert Map again and find whatever new quest icon has appeared. Then, travel to that new location and keep repeating that process until Act 2 is complete in Path of Exile 2.
