Paramount Plus Slashes Annual Plan Prices Ahead of NFL Season

Estimated read time 2 min read

Paramount Plus is cutting the cost of its yearly plans, just in time for football season. For a limited time, the streamer’s 12-month subscription plans will be available at a 50% discount. If ever there was a time to give Paramount Plus a chance, now would be it.

The promotion — which can be accessed with promo code FALL50! — puts the cost of a 12-month Paramount Plus Essential plan to $30 a year — half of its typical $60 yearly cost, while marking the ad-free Paramount Plus with Showtime down from $120 to $60. The deal is available for new and returning subscribers and expires on Sept. 6.

Paramount Plus is one of the latest streamers to hike prices, making this deal even more enticing.

The ad-supported tier offers access to the streamer’s complete on-demand programming library, which includes their original Star Trek shows (from Discovery to Strange New Worlds), the video game TV adaptation of Halo, the Frasier revival, Jackass, the Godfather trilogy and the Yellowstone prequel series, 1883. Subscribers of Paramount Plus with Showtime plan will be able to view Showtime content and CBS’s feed, as well, which includes live sports programming from the UEFA Champions League, The Masters, NCAA basketball and the NFL.

If you’re on the fence about giving the promotion a shot, Paramount Plus has a free trial membership option which grants potential subscribers a chance at trying the platform on for size. You can cancel at any time or continue the service with the discounted rate after the trial ends.
