Panera Has a New, First-Of-Its-Kind Sandwich We Can’t Wait to Get Our Hands On

Panera Bread has spent the last year overhauling its menu to add more value and give its loyal customers more of what they want. Some of the changes include removing less popular items, bringing back fan favorites, and creating new choices that offer a fresh spin on beloved flavors, like the Kickin’ Grilled Cheese and Cinnamon Roll sandwiches.

More recently, the Missouri-based chain launched two new soups to usher in fall. Now, it’s taking customers’ love for combining menu items and offering a new pair of savory dippable sandwiches.

Panera’s New Ciabatta Dippers

Panera’s Ciabatta Dipper comes in two variations—the French Dipper and Spicy Chicken Dipper—and is served with a bowl of soup for dipping.

The French Dipper features marinated steak covered with melted provolone and Asiago cheese, along with a bold garlic aioli drizzle. The steak sandwich is paired with Panera’s Bistro French Onion Soup which is loaded with sweet caramelized onions and a rich tomato-infused base.

Fans seeking a little heat can try the Spicy Chicken Dipper which includes slices of grilled chicken, tangy salsa verde, and melted provolone. The Spicy Chicken Dipper is served with tomato soup, offering a hearty meal option that goes beyond the classic grilled cheese pairing.

Can’t pick just one? Panera added its new Ciabatta Dippers to the You Pick 2 options so you can easily order a half sandwich or try both. As always, the sandwiches can be customized so you can add extra sauce or swap the cheese if that’s what your heart desires. However, it doesn’t look like you’ll be able to swap out the bread, but that’s probably because not all bread holds up to dipping in soup the same way that crusty ciabatta bread does.

Ciabatta Dippers are available at Panera’s nationwide, but only for a limited time, so be sure to try these two flavorful combos before they disappear.
