Estimated read time 1 min read

There’s an active recall on 19,688 cases of milk sold at retail locations in three states, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). This is due to a packaging error that may cause the product to spoil earlier than labeled.

The product affected by this recall is Horizon Organic Aseptic Plain Whole Milk sold in 8-ounce, 12-pack cartons. With UPC codes 3663207113 on the 12-carton cases and 3663207127 on individual cartons, the milk was sold by retailers—including CVS, per company announcement—in the following states: Arizona, California and Nevada. The recalled milk also contains best-by dates ranging from March 3, 2025, through March 7, 2025.

Check your refrigerator immediately, and if you have the recalled milk on hand, dispose of it or return to your place of purchase for a refund. If you are experiencing any illness after consuming the impacted product, call your doctor immediately.

To report an illness related to this recall, file an online report through the FDA’s safety reporting portal or call 1-888-INFO-FDA (1-888-463-6332) to report by phone or ask for additional information.
