There’s an active recall on 12 different nuts, snacks and packaged food products sold in nine states, according to the Food and Drug Administration. This is due to multiple undeclared allergens unaddressed on the product packaging.
The affected Cal Yee’s, Cal Yee Farm and Boa Vista Orchards branded products were packaged in clear plastic pouches or containers in various sizes. The snacks were sold online as well as in the following states: Arizona, California, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Those with allergies or sensitivities to milk, soy, wheat, sesame, food dye FD&C Yellow #6 and almonds may experience allergic reactions when consuming one of the above recalled products. This includes anaphylaxis, which can cause symptoms like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and, in severe cases, trouble breathing, tightness in the throat and cardiac arrest. If you are experiencing any signs of anaphylactic shock after eating one of these recalled snacks, call 911 immediately.
