Director George Miller recently shared his dissatisfaction with the 2015 Mad Max video game while promoting his latest film in the franchise, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Despite Miller’s apparent disdain for the adaptation of his characters, he used one of the original creations from the game in a cameo appearance in Furiosa itself.

Warning: There are minor spoilers ahead for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. If you don’t want to know which character made it into the movie, then stop reading now.

Via Comic Book, the character in question is the mechanic Chumbucket, who was voiced by Jason Spizeck in the game. For the character’s brief appearance in Furiosa, Bryan Probets took over the role.

Chumbucket’s scene happens late in the film when Furiosa finds herself in need of a new car. Probets even did his version of Chumbucket’s distinctive voice for the cameo. But considering Chumbucket’s fate in the game, he might not be showing up again unless Miller makes the Mad Max side of the prequel story he came up with for Mad Max: Fury Road.

Earlier this week, Miller told GamingBible about his feelings for the previous Mad Max game, and what it would take to get him on board for another video game in his wasteland universe.

“We did have a video game made when we did Fury Road,” said Miller. “We’ve been asked many, many times to do one, and it wasn’t as good as I wanted it to be. It wasn’t in our hands, we gave all our material to a company to do it. But you know, I’m one of those people that I’d rather not do something unless you can do it at the highest level. Or at least try to make it high level.”

Miller even shared his belief that the right man for the job is Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima. But Miller also explained why he wouldn’t ask Kojima to bring his vision to life.

“[Kojima’s] got so much fantastic stuff in his own head that I would never ask him,” said Miller.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is now playing in theaters.
