Happy Memorial Day weekend! This is always such a fun weekend. To me, it signals the start of summer. Nothing beats the feeling of summertime days! What are your plans for this weekend?

No special plans over here. I’m just praying the weather holds up, and it doesn’t snow, but it is in the forecast. Memorial Day weekend is not what people from out of town expect. But then, sometime around the second week of June, the weather finally turns, and beautiful summer weather arrives. We’re a little behind the rest of the US, but as my brother just said to me, “You live at the top of a mountain at 9300 feet, summer’s going to come a little later.”

Ahhh, he speaks the truth.

Anyway, I hope you all have the most fun plans! BBQs, pool parties, time in the sun, and, of course, menus full of only the best summertime food!

I’m finally finishing things up around here, which is so exciting! It’s been a very, very long spring. Now that my big project is completed, I’m looking forward to a summer of travel for work. Hopefully, lots of warm weather and humid nights ahead. I miss those hot and humid summer nights!

This week was great! I got to spend some time with Asher, which is always my favorite. She’s literally my best friend. We have the most fun just chatting about clothes or gossiping. She’s always looking to help me out, too, so having her around really is the best!

I spent the week cooking, and Iâm looking forward to a busy week ahead. Weâre working on a handful of really exciting projects and launchesâso much fun!

From Zara, this lace slip dress is pretty and would be great on warm summer nights. Also, I love this open back knit midi dress. I always love a beautiful back detail on a dress.

listening toâ¦this is so random, but Will Smith. Miami is honestly the best song, then I just kept listening through the playlist. I skip through a good amount of the songs, but there are some gems on this album.

shopping…the Elsa x Heavy Manners swim collection. Every single suit is SO CUTE. Asher and I are obsessed. My favorite suite is the ‘Diet Mountain Dew’ Double String Top and Diet Mountain Dew’ High Cut Full Bottoms. But there isn’t a suite I don’t not love.

dreaming of going to…the Rosewood Schloss Fuschl in Hof bei Salzburg, Austria. This gorgeous hotel does not open until July, but that makes it even more exciting! The photos look stunning. orderingâ¦the Flamingo Estate Spicy Strawberry Fruit Snack. This in a cocktail/mocktail will be so good. I’m loving shopping around on Flamingo Estate. They have the best honey, vinegar, olive oil, and clean burning candles. Ohhh, and look how pretty these flowers are. I would be so excited to receive their Weekly Bloom Bundle. I want those dahlias!

listening to…Why Metabolic Dysfunction is Ruining Our Health and What to Do About It with Stanford MD, Dr. Casey Means. I highly recommend listening to this. So much information on our health care system.

everything in my cart (beauty)â¦Sofia Coppola’s new tinted lip balm collaboration with Augustinus Bader. This Forbes article discusses the collaboration. Speaking of Augustinus Bader, I need to get more of their body cream. It’s SO GOOD.

wanting…to play tennis, mainly because I love the outfits, but also because it looks like a killer all-body workout. I know it’s trendy, but I think I would be into it. Also, horseback riding. I really, really want to do more of this over the summer. I think it will help with my anxiety and stress.

Sister conversations with Asher. There’s nothing better than a sister chit-chat. We could go on for hours.

My mom is going to kill me for adding this in, but how cute are my parents? I feel so lucky to have two loving parents who actually LOVE to be together. I know how rare that is, and man, I just love them both so much. They’re finally back home after a month of travel. It was so nice to get to give my dad a big hug; I needed it.
