New Book About Former Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Is Available At Amazon

Satoru Iwata left a lasting impact on the world of gaming. The fourth president and CEO of Nintendo was involved with many of the best games in Nintendo’s library. If you’re interested in reading more about the late gaming giant, a book titled The Impact of Iwata released earlier this year. Whether you’re interested in the history of video games or are a longtime Nintendo fan, The Impact of Iwata is worth checking out. It’s available to purchase for $30 (was $34) at Amazon.

Beyond The Impact of Iwata, you should also check out Ask Iwata, which is a “motivational collection” that discusses how the legendary developer helped Nintendo innovate and grow over the years. It’s aimed at both business leaders and Nintendo fans, and contains insight from Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Earthbound creator Shigesato Itoi. It’s definitely worth checking out, especially now that it’s discounted to $15 (down from $23).

A few other notable gaming books are on sale right now, including Reggie Fils-Aimé’s book, Disrupting the Game. The hardcover autobiography usually costs $28, but Amazon is bringing it down to just $8. And if you’re a Kojima fan, you’ll find his book, The Creative Gene, listed for $18 (down from $23). Meanwhile, Cliff “Cliffy B” Bleszinski’s book Control Freak chronicles his career as the designer of iconic franchises such as Unreal Tournament and Gears of War. It’s on sale for $16 in hardcover format (down from $29). Then there’s John Romero’s autobiography, Doom Guy: Life in First Person, which clocks in just shy of 400 pages, comes in a gorgeous hardcover volume, and is listed for $27 (down from $30).
