M&M’s Halloween Rescue Squad Is Back With a Rescue ‘BOOth’ — Here’s What to Know

M&M’s is here to make sure you have the best Halloween possible. And it’s bringing back its  Halloween Rescue Squad to make sure you don’t run out of candy in the middle of trick-or-treat time.

“As an authority on Halloween, Mars continuously listens to our consumers, and we’re excited to inspire moments of everyday happiness all season long, and on Halloween night, with M&M’s Halloween Rescue Squad,” Tim LeBel, the chief Halloween officer (real job) and president of sales at Mars Wrigley North America, said in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “Whether you’re treating yourself with our M&M’s Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie or looking to impress trick-or-treaters with Mars Wrigley variety bags — Mars will make sure you and your candy bowl are covered this Halloween.”

As Mars found in its first-ever Mars Tricks, Treats, and Trends report, the candy company found that 78% of the consumers it surveyed said they were “most anxious” about running out of candy. So, to try and ensure that doesn’t happen, M&M’s is rolling out the first-ever M&M’s Halloween Rescue BOOths.

The candy pop-ups will be set up in the most “out of candy” spots, which were discovered by M&M’s Rescue Squad last year. They include Philadelphia, PA, and Westfield, NJ, so the two cities will stay stocked with M&M’s and other goodies. Anyone who needs to fill their bowls can show up between 5-8 p.m. ET in New Jersey and 6-8 p.m. ET in Pennsylvania on Halloween night. You just need to visit the booth, phone in a request, and get an instant candy refill.

But these aren’t the only destinations it’s helping out this holiday. M&M’s Rescue Squad, in partnership with the instant commerce company Gopuff, is also going to be on call to restock candy bowls across the U.S. Starting at 5 p.m. ET on Oct. 31, anyone can head to MMS.com/Halloween-Rescue-Squad to call on the M&M’s Halloween Rescue Squad to deliver Mars candy in about 30 minutes (only at participating locations, but hey, it’s better than nothing).

There’s even one more way you can spice up your Halloween bowl. In the spring, the brand announced a new flavor, M&M’s Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie, which combines the “rich flavor of real milk chocolate infused with the cozy warmth of pumpkin spice, all wrapped up in vibrant candy shells.” Clearly, picking up a few bags of these will make your house the most sought-after on the block for trick-or-treaters.
