McDonald’s Has a New $1 Deal on a Menu Favorite Through the End of the Year

We cannot say it enough times: If you love fast food, download your favorite brands’ apps. It’s where all the best promotions and deals live. Not convinced yet? Burger King is currently showing its holiday cheer by tossing out daily deals—including free food—to its Royal Perks members. Over at Shake Shack, ShakeApp customers are getting free burgers. Now, McDonald’s is rolling out a $1 deal on one of its most popular menu items—but you can only get it through the app.

How to Get McDonald’s $1 McNuggets

From now until Dec. 30, you can order a 10-piece box of Chicken McNuggets once a week from the McDonald’s app for just $1. If this rings a bell for some of you, you’re onto something. The super chain offered the same deal from Nov. 4 to Dec. 2 as part of its “Season of Savings”. While there’s no additional purchase necessary to redeem your $1 nuggets, we’re tempted to at least grab some fries with our nugs.

Thinking of having a larger feast? McDonald’s has plenty of great promotions right now. Most recently, the company dropped its new Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Happy Meal and collectors are taking note. Adding that to your McNuggets would bring you a burger, as well as fries, apple slices, and a drink. 

Of course, true McDonald stans would be remiss to skip the comeback of the McRib, which returned to menus on Dec. 3 for a limited time. Eat it all while wearing the Grimace holiday sweater, which we’re planning on making part of our winter wardrobe well past the New Year. 

Speaking of January, set your calendar for the 2025 return of the McCrispy Snack Wrap. Though the exact date hasn’t yet been announced, McDonald’s is proving that there’s more to look forward to in the new year.
