Lodge Cast Iron Has Sales on All My Favorites That I’ve Used for Years — Up to 50% Off

Estimated read time 5 min read

Over ten years ago, I acquired my first cast iron skillet from a donation pile at a friend’s house. I had no idea how to care for or cook with cast iron at the time, but after learning the dos and don’ts, I became a convert for life. I still turn to that same Lodge cast iron skillet today for weeknight meals and weekend brunches, and it’s only gotten better with time.

My collection of Lodge cookware has since grown to include a Dutch oven, a reversible griddle, a camp oven, and several other pieces — each serving unique and essential needs. I can’t imagine my kitchen without my beloved Lodge cookware, and with deals up to 50% off, I’m hoping you’ll love them as much as I do.

Editor-Favorite Lodge Cookware:

Lodge 10.25-Inch Cast Iron Pre-Seasoned Skillet

Amazon

The Lodge 10.25-inch cast iron skillet is the classic piece of cookware that started it all and it’s been our favorite cast iron skillet for years. Mine is a cherished piece of cookware I plan on using for the rest of my life to pan-fry, sauté, and roast. Sidenote: I personally think it’s the best  tofu-press money can buy.  The skillet retains heat evenly and consistently, guaranteeing a beautiful sear every time. After years of use and seasoning, it’s virtually nonstick and cleans up in seconds. At $20, now’s the perfect time to start your own cast iron journey.

Lodge 4.5-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven

Amazon

My Lodge enameled cast iron Dutch oven is another essential piece of cookware in my kitchen that I can’t live without. Lucky for you, it’s currently 40% off. I use it to bake sourdough loaves at least once a week, and it’s held up to my 510°F oven for years, producing the perfect crust on my loaves every single time. Besides bread, I turn to it for stews, casseroles, and even at-home hot pot. If I’m braising, the enamel’s light color helps me keep track of foods as they’re browning, and I can’t complain about cleanup thanks to its smooth finish that reduces sticking. While other Dutch ovens may cost hundreds, the on-sale Lodge Dutch oven offers high performance and longevity at just $70.

Lodge Cast Iron Rectangular Reversible Griddle

Amazon

As a devout pancake eater (every Sunday), getting the Lodge reversible griddle was a game-changer for my weekend breakfasts. I can fit up to six medium-sized pancakes on this 9.5 inch by 16.75 inch griddle, or have pancakes and eggs cooking at the same time for maximum efficiency. Plus, I love that it has a grill on the other side, so I can get flavorful grill marks on one of my favorite sides. Being able to achieve a smokey char without owning a grill automatically upgrades any weeknight dinner. It’s 50% off right now, so I’d say run, don’t walk, to grab this deal.

Lodge 4-Quart Camp Oven

Amazon

A piece of cast iron cookware in any camp kitchen setup is key. While I love using my Lodge skillet for making quick hashes, I love having the Lodge camp oven around to make stews and chilis over the fire. I can even use it to make a rustic berry galette for dessert. I can also attest to its durability, having dropped it more times than I’d like to admit during my camping trips. It’s a worthy deal at 37% off, and a great piece of camping gear that you’ll use for decades.

Lodge 12-Inch Cast Iron Deep Skillet

Amazon

Whether I’m deep-frying, baking a casserole, or layering a lasagna, it helps to have a skillet with extra depth. With high walls that come in at 3.43 inches compared to 2.25 inches on the original skillet’s walls, I never worry about food spilling over. The 12-inch model is also wide enough for making pizzas at home, just in case the craving hits on a Wednesday night. Hurry: It won’t be 21% off forever.

Lodge Scrubbing Pad

Amazon

My secret to keeping my Lodge cast iron cookware in pristine condition is this scrubbing pad consisting of silicone and stainless steel chainmail. Leftover char is no match for this scrubber, which thoroughly and safely cleans cast iron surfaces without removing the pans’ hard-earned seasoning. Sometimes I use a little bit of dish soap for more stubborn food residue, but I never need much and often only have to use warm water. It feels like magic every time I use it, and at $20, it might very well be.

Lodge Splatter Screen

Amazon

Hear me out: It may seem frivolous to get a kitchen tool dedicated to a single task, but when that task is to prevent hot oil from splattering all over your kitchen (and yourself!), it’s worth it. The truth is, no matter how much I press my tofu, it’s inevitable that it will splatter the second it hits the sizzling hot surface of a cast iron skillet. For these moments, I’m grateful to have the Lodge splatter screen, which fits right over the top of my skillet and minimizes splattering significantly. For only $16, it’s a small investment to not have to use a lid as a shield when you’re frying.
