Little Caesars Just Brought Back a Fan-Favorite Pizza

We may just be entering the pizza crust wars. It’s an all-out fast food battle the likes of which have not been seen since the crispy chicken sandwich wars of 2019.

Earlier this month, Domino’s announced its first-ever Stuffed Crust Pizza. (Yeah, we were as surprised as you that the big pizza chain had never stuffed mozzarella into its crust before, but it’s true.) Then, just this week, Pizza Hut (the originators of the stuffed crust), brought back its Cheesy Bite Pizza. If you’re not familiar with the Cheesy Bite Pizza, it’s made with 28 pull-apart, cheese-filled bites that you can rip off the pizza and pop in your mouth.

Never one to be left out, Little Caesars is getting in on the stuffed crust craze by bringing back a fan-favorite crust and giving cheese lovers the option to stuff it with gooey melted cheese.

Little Caesars’ Pretzel Crust Pizza Returns

Beginning March 31, Little Caesars lovers can get their pizza built on pretzel crust for a limited time. The pizza—available from 4-8pm daily from April 7 to June 22—doesn’t have traditional pizza toppings like red sauce and mozzarella cheese. Rather, the buttery-flavored, soft pretzel crust is topped with a creamy Cheddar cheese sauce and well as mozzarella and Muenster cheese, and finished with a sprinkle of even more Cheddar cheese. If you deconstructed the pizza, you’d basically have one big soft pretzel with a cheesy dipping sauce, and who doesn’t love that?

And, as good as that sounds, Little Caesars is putting a twist on its Pretzel Crust Pizza by offering a new stuffed crust version. Because fans asked, the pizza chain is baking gooey, melted cheese right into the crust. And, there’s more. Pizza lovers can now replace the cheese sauce that usually comes on the Pretzel Crust Pizza—either the regular or the stuffed crust—with marinara, giving it a more traditional pizza vibe.

We’re guessing with the announcement of Pizza Hut’s Cheesy Bite Pizza and the new Stuffed Crust Pretzel Crust Pizza from Little Caesars, someone from Domino’s is wondering how to give its new Stuffed Crust Pizza a glow up, because it seems that now the gauntlet has officially been thrown down, doesn’t it?
