Like the 2019 film, this October’s Joker: Folie a Deux will be rated R. The Motion Picture Association has listed a rating for the highly anticipated sequel and also gave some clues about why it received that rating.

Joker: Folie a Deux will have “some strong violence, language throughout, some sexuality, and brief full nudity,” the ratings board said, as reported by Variety.

For comparison, the earlier film was rated R for “strong bloody violence, disturbing behavior, language, and brief sexual images.”

Folie a Deux, which means a “delusion or mental illness shared by two people in close association,” stars Joaquin Phoenix as Joker, with Lady Gaga joining the cast as Harley Quinn. Phoenix won the Best Actor Academy Award for his portrayal of Arthur Fleck/Joker in the first movie.

Zazie Beetz also returns from the 2019 movie, with Oscar-nominated actors Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener joining the cast.

Folie a Deux’s first trailer will be released on April 9, and ahead of that, the first poster is out now. It depicts Joker and Harley dancing with a spotlight shining on them.

In other news, Variety recently reported that the Joker sequel will feature at least 15 “reinterpretations” of popular songs, one of which is “That’s Entertainment” from the 1953 Judy Garland musical The Band Wagon. The movie could feature original music, too.

Plot details for the Joker sequel–due out in theaters on October 4–remain a mystery, but the drama is expected to feature scenes within and outside of Arkham Asylum. Todd Phillips returns to direct and write, alongside co-writer Scott Silver.

2019’s Joker was a box-office smash, earning more than $1 billion against a reported budget of $55 million. GameSpot’s Joker review scored it a 10/10.
