It took me years to dial in my smoothie routine, which I take very seriously. On days when I’m lifting weights, I’ll include frozen bananas, strawberries, and either blueberries or raspberries, in addition to chia, flax, oats, and more; on off days, I’ve been working on perfecting a clone of Erewhon’s Maca Bomb smoothie (it haunts me) with ingredients like frozen goji berries, dates, and hemp. Sometimes, I’ll mix things up and include frozen blackberries or cauliflower in a smoothie or frozen spinach if I’m getting hardcore with it. The point is that I like to keep a pretty flush array of produce in my freezer, which requires some extremely dependable organizational gear.
For my smoothie life to operate smoothly (pun intended), I have an arsenal of sustainable, freezer-friendly bags to keep everything in order. Stasher makes the bags I really love, and a 3-pack is currently 24% off on Amazon, situating the bags at a cool $10 each.

I have an entire shelf in my kitchen devoted to Stashers, deli containers, and Tupperware, but the Stashers are clearly in charge. I love that they’re BPA-free and dishwasher safe, and their leak-proof Pinch-Loc seals have never (not once!) opened up on their own or leaked. I also think it’s great that these are clear, so I can easily see what’s within.
And fruit isn’t the only thing I use these for. I’ve been known to fill these with leftover sauces (because I’d never toss out a great marinara, no matter how much is left), pasta, grains, coffee beans, and more. I also use these in the fridge for leftovers of all sorts.
I truly do love these bags. They never smell, don’t puncture or leak, and can easily sit standing up or lie flat atop my ice maker or, if in my fridge, a pizza box. What else could you need from a freezer bag — especially for only $10?
