I Can Finally Straighten My Hair on My Own Thanks to Tymo’s Hair Straightening Brush, Now Only $36 for Black Friday

Estimated read time 4 min read

Like most women, I’ve been through quite the journey with my hair. I’ve had the most beautiful highs and the most devastating lows, but after taking the time to really understand my hair — it has never been healthier. In my teens and early 20s, I wore my hair straight all the time. I’d have weekly visits to the hair salon and leave with a sleek, frizz-free blowout. As I got older, I decided to go back to my roots and let my curls out to play.

For over 10 years, I was adamant about protecting my hair and keeping heat away. That changed recently when my hairdresser brought the Tymo Ring hair straightening brush into my life. Before I tell you how amazing Tymo’s straightener is, let me first tell you that this Black Friday deal brings it down to only $36, which is 40% off its retail price of $60.

Now, let’s talk about all the reasons you should snag one before it sells out. After being introduced to the Tymo Ring hair straightening brush, I had to have one. I did my research and realized it had gone viral on TikTok. I missed the initial craze but I’m so glad I caught up. The Tymo Ring has made straightening my hair almost effortless. In my straight hair era, I’d always struggle to keep my hair sleek and frizz-free after salon visits. I just couldn’t properly maneuver a traditional flat iron to achieve the results I was looking for at the time. I was also terrified of burning myself. With the Tymo Ring, these issues don’t exist.

Why I love the Tymo Ring

Unlike a traditional flat iron, the Tymo Ring is shaped like a comb. The brand calls it a brush but it looks, feels and works more like a comb in my opinion. Once I’ve detangled my hair, all I have to do is section it and run the straightener through the strands like a normal comb. That’s all it takes for super straight, almost silk-press-style results. Things start heating up in seconds and you can choose from five heat settings, although I’ve never needed to go beyond the third.

The straightener is designed in a way that allows me to get my roots without worrying about burning my scalp, which is one of my favorite parts. The technology inside the Tymo Ring also works to protect your hair from heat damage. The unique 3D brush (or comb) teeth have PTC heating technology and an anti-burning shell. Tymo touts that the Ring straightener does an excellent job of “locking in moisture within the hair.” This claim seems to be valid. I can feel a noticeable softness in my hair after using the straightener. The brand’s patented technology “guarantees homogeneous heat across your every hair allows consistent beautiful results in one stroke.” This allows you to achieve salon-style results with less heat, ultimately leading to less breakage and frizz.

If you want even more protection for your hair, I recommend the Chi 44 Iron Guard, Redken Color Gloss heat protection or another viral product, the Color Wow Dream Coat, which is also on sale for Black Friday.

The perfect gift this holiday season

The Tymo Ring hair straightening brush works for every hair type and offers brilliant results every time. That alone makes it a great gift to give this holiday season, and I should know. After the first time I used it, I immediately told my favorite aunt about it. She was intrigued, as someone who’s been wearing her hair straight for as long as I’ve known her. Instead of offering more information, I sent her one of her own. I also gifted the Tymo Ring to cousins and shared the link far and wide with other women in my life.

It would make a great stocker stuffer if you already have a main gift picked out. Or even the perfect Secret Santa gift.
